Weekly figures are seven daily maximums; the airport does not publish weekly or monthly rates, or how a partial day is billed for drive-up parking. For Garage Daily, the airport's rate list shows $2/hour, but the lot data behind its parking page lists $1 per 20 minutes, so a short Garage Daily stay could be billed at up to $3/hour; the $21 daily maximum is the same either way.

Hourly and Short-Term Rates
Short visits are cheapest in Garage Hourly, where the first 2 hours are free.

Prepaid Garage Parking: Booking Fee and Rules
The airport's online booking adds a $1.99 booking fee and prices garage parking per 24-hour period.
Book at least 6 hours ahead for at least 24 hours; cancel up to 2 hours before for a full refund. Prepaid prices can vary with the time of booking and availability, so compare them with the $21 drive-up rate. - Payment: the Red, Grey and Blue Lots take cards only.
- Shuttles: free, 24/7, to and from every economy lot.
- Taxes: the airport does not say whether posted rates include tax.
- Online booking: garage only, with the $1.99 booking fee built into the quote.
- Daily maximum timing: drive-up partial-day billing isn't published; prepaid garage bookings round the last day up to a full 24 hours.

How to Save on Parking at DSM
The biggest saving is choosing the Red or Grey Lot over the garage: $13 to $14 less per day.
- Pick the right lot: Red ($7) and Grey ($8) are the cheapest official options.
- Don't use Hourly for long stays: it tops out at $48/day, more than twice Garage Daily.
- Use free pick-up options: 2 free hours in EZ-PICKUP or Garage Hourly, 60 free minutes in the Cell Phone Lot.
- Coupons: the airport says its parking does not offer or accept coupons, and no official promo code is published.
- Stay under 60 days: the maximum in any airport lot.
