The PHX airport parking map is a lot-by-lot layout of every parking option at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, from the Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 garages to the East Economy lots, West Economy facilities, and the 24th Street Station. On-airport daily rates range from $10/day (West Economy Park & Walk, seasonal) to $43/day (Valet), per the City of Phoenix Aviation Department's published rates (verified October 2026). Off-site lots bookable through Triply run from about $4/day (La Quinta in Tempe, no shuttle) to about $15/day across seven lots; those rates are for a 7-day stay booked ahead and change by date. This guide walks you through every section of the phx airport parking map so you know exactly where each lot sits, how far it is from your terminal, and how to get there.

  • On-airport lots span two sides of the airfield: East Economy (Sky Train access) and West Economy (walk-only to Terminal 3), plus terminal garages adjacent to each concourse.
  • The PHX Sky Train is free and runs every ~3 minutes, 24/7. It connects East Economy Garages A & B, East Economy Uncovered, 24th Street Station, Terminal 3, Terminal 4, and the Rental Car Center.
  • West Economy Garage and Park & Walk have no shuttle. Plan for a 12 to 15 minute walk to Terminal 3.
  • Off-site lots Triply sells are listed 0.8 to 3.9 miles from PHX. Seven lots run from about $4 to $15/day, and only five of them have a shuttle (La Quinta and Howard Johnson do not).
  • Two cell phone waiting lots exist: one near Terminal 3 and one near Terminal 4, both free and open 24 hours.
  • ADA accessible parking is available at PHX's on-airport facilities. Several off-site lots also list ADA or wheelchair-accessible parking.

What Does the PHX Airport Parking Map Show? (A Full Lot-by-Lot Breakdown)

The official PHX airport parking map shows every parking facility on the Sky Harbor campus, organized by location relative to Terminal 3 (John McCain Terminal) and Terminal 4 (Barry M. Goldwater Terminal). You can view it at skyharbor.com/parking. Here's what each zone covers.

Terminal Garages (Adjacent to Each Terminal)

  • Terminal 3 Garage — Attached to Terminal 3. Closest parking for Alaska Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, Sun Country, and United travelers. Max $33/day.
  • Terminal 4 Garage — Attached to Terminal 4. Serves American Airlines, Southwest, JetBlue, Spirit, and all other T4 carriers. Max $33/day.
  • Premium Parking — Available near the terminal garages with prime-level access. Max $37/day.
  • Valet Parking — Drop off at the terminal entrance. $18 first hour, max $43/day.

East Economy Zone (East Side, Sky Train Access)

  • East Economy Garages A & B — Covered multi-level parking east of the terminals. Max $19/day. Free PHX Sky Train to both terminals, every ~3 minutes.
  • East Economy Uncovered — Open-air surface lot in the same east zone. Max $16/day. Same Sky Train access as the garages.

West Economy Zone (West Side, Walk-Only)

  • West Economy Garage — Multi-level garage west of Terminal 3. Max $19/day. No shuttle — about a 12-minute walk to Terminal 3.
  • West Economy Park & Walk — Seasonal open-air lot, the cheapest on-airport option at max $10/day. About a 15-minute walk to Terminal 3. No shuttle. Check availability before booking — this lot does not operate year-round.

24th Street Station

The 24th Street Station lot sits near the 24th Street PHX Sky Train station on the west side of the airport campus. Max $16/day. You board the free Sky Train here to reach both terminals. This is one of the most overlooked lots on the phx airport parking map — rates match East Economy Uncovered but access is via a less-crowded station.

According to official airport data, PHX has ~18,000 total parking spaces across all on-airport facilities. All lots accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Where Are the On-Airport Parking Lots at Sky Harbor?

On the PHX airport parking map, the campus divides into an east side and a west side. The terminals sit in the middle. Here's how to visualize each lot's position.

East of the terminals — East Economy Garages A & B and East Economy Uncovered. These lots sit off Sky Harbor Boulevard east of the concourses. The PHX Sky Train station is inside the garage complex, making the walk from your car to the train platform very short — typically under two minutes.

West of the terminals — West Economy Garage and West Economy Park & Walk. These lots are accessed from the west end of the airport near Washington Street. There is no Sky Train connection here. You walk a paved path directly to Terminal 3. Terminal 4 travelers should not use these lots — the walk is too long and there is no direct connection.

At the terminals — Terminal 3 Garage and Terminal 4 Garage are physically attached to their respective concourses. Valet and Premium Parking entry points are also at the terminal level. If you are dropping off a car quickly or have heavy luggage, these are the map locations to target.

The 24th Street Station lot is located on the south side of the campus near the intersection of 24th Street and Sky Harbor Boulevard. It connects to the Sky Train network and from there you can reach either terminal.

How Much Does PHX Airport Parking Cost in 2026?

Based on published rates from the City of Phoenix Aviation Department, on-airport daily parking ranges from $10/day to $43/day depending on the lot. Off-site lots bookable through Triply run from about $4/day to about $15/day. Against the $33/day terminal garages, that is about 56% to 72% less for the lots with a shuttle (DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Phoenix about 72% less, Sky Harbor Airport Parking about 56% less). Against East Economy uncovered at $16/day the gap is smaller: DoubleTree, Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport North and Crowne Plaza run about 32% to 42% less per day, while PreFlight and Sky Harbor Airport Parking are only about 9% to 11% less per day. On a real week's checkout (about $117 and $121) those two cost slightly more than seven days in East Economy uncovered ($112). The two lots with no shuttle, La Quinta and Howard Johnson, are cheapest, but you pay for your own rides to and from the terminal.

For a full breakdown of all official rates and a week-by-week cost comparison, see our article on Phoenix Sky Harbor airport parking rates for 2026.

For the cheapest on-airport option, West Economy Park & Walk at $10/day beats every other on-airport lot, but it's seasonal, walk-only, and Terminal 3 only. If that lot is closed or you fly from Terminal 4, East Economy Uncovered at $16/day with free Sky Train access is the next best on-airport value.

How Do You Get from Each Parking Lot to Your Terminal?

Getting from your parking spot to the gate depends entirely on which section of the phx airport parking map you parked in. Here is the breakdown by lot.

PHX Sky Train Lots (East Economy, 24th Street Station)

The PHX Sky Train is a free automated people mover running 24/7, every ~3 minutes. It connects East Economy Garages A & B, East Economy Uncovered, the 24th Street Station, Terminal 3, Terminal 4, the 44th Street Valley Metro Rail station, and the Rental Car Center. Board at the Sky Train platform inside or adjacent to your lot. The ride to Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 takes just a few minutes. The Valley Metro Rail connection at 44th Street allows onward travel to downtown Phoenix, Tempe, or Mesa for $2.00 per Valley Metro's airport transit guide.

Terminal Garage Lots (Walk-In)

If you park in the Terminal 3 Garage or Terminal 4 Garage, you walk a covered path directly into your terminal. No train, no shuttle. This is the fastest lot-to-gate experience on the map. Valet and Premium Parking entry points are also at the terminal level — hand over your keys at the curb and you're inside within minutes.

West Economy Lots (Walk-Only, Terminal 3)

The West Economy Garage and West Economy Park & Walk have no shuttle and no Sky Train connection. You walk a marked path to Terminal 3 — about 12 minutes from the garage and 15 minutes from the Park & Walk lot. Do not use these lots if you fly from Terminal 4 — American, Southwest, JetBlue, and Spirit all depart from T4. In Phoenix summer heat (June–September), the walk is grueling. Covered parking or a lot with shuttle access is a much better option during those months.

Where Are the Cell Phone Waiting Lots on the PHX Parking Map?

PHX has two free cell phone waiting lots — one serving each terminal. Both are open 24 hours and free of charge. Use them when picking up arriving passengers so you don't pay for garage parking while you wait.

  • Cell Phone Lot near Terminal 3 — Located off Sky Harbor Boulevard on the north side of the terminal. Enter from the Terminal 3 arrivals loop. Wait here, then drive to the curb when your passenger texts you.
  • Cell Phone Lot near Terminal 4 — Located off Sky Harbor Boulevard on the Terminal 4 side. Same principle — wait in the lot, then pull to the arrivals curb when your passenger is ready.

Neither cell phone lot connects to the Sky Train. They are drive-up, drive-out only. If your passenger's flight is delayed, you can wait as long as needed at no cost. Pull up the PHX parking availability page to confirm the lot status before you arrive.

How Do Off-Airport Parking Lots Near PHX Compare on the Map?

Triply sells seven off-airport lots near PHX. Six are listed 0.8 to 2.3 miles from the airport, along Washington Street, Van Buren Street, 44th Street and 40th Street. The seventh, La Quinta Inn & Suites Tempe University, is in Tempe, listed 3.9 miles away (about a 10-minute drive). Rates run from about $4/day to about $15/day, well below the on-airport terminal garages (verified October 2026). One name to watch: Sky Harbor Airport Parking is a private lot on S 40th St, not the airport's own parking.

The key variable when reading off-airport options on any map is shuttle availability. Two lots, La Quinta Inn & Suites Tempe University (about $4/day, in Tempe) and Howard Johnson (about $5/day, 4120 E Van Buren St), have no shuttle service, and Howard Johnson's has been suspended. You must arrange your own ride to the terminals. The other five have a shuttle, but not every listing says it is free: Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport North, Crowne Plaza and PreFlight state a free shuttle, while DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport Parking do not.

For longer trips, the daily rate matters more, so compare lots by the full-stay total rather than the per-day price alone. Our guide to Phoenix airport long-term parking rates and lots covers the multi-day math lot by lot.

Rates checked on Triply in October 2026. Crowne Plaza has a 2-day minimum. Sky Harbor Airport Parking, a private lot that is not run by the airport, has a 3-day minimum, must be booked at least 48 hours ahead, and part of its price is paid at the lot.

What Are the Best PHX Parking Options for Your Trip Type?

The right lot depends on your terminal, your trip length, your budget, and the season. Here's how to match the phx airport parking map to your situation.

Shortest Walk to Your Gate

Use the Terminal 3 Garage (T3 flyers) or Terminal 4 Garage (T4 flyers). You walk directly in. Max $33/day. No train, no shuttle, no walk in the heat.

Best Value with Sky Train Access

Park at East Economy Uncovered ($16/day) or East Economy Garages A & B ($19/day). Both connect to the free PHX Sky Train running every ~3 minutes. Garages are strongly recommended during June–September when outdoor temperatures regularly exceed 110°F.

Cheapest On-Airport Option (Seasonal)

West Economy Park & Walk at $10/day is the lowest on-airport rate. Terminal 3 only. Walk ~15 minutes. Not available year-round — confirm availability before booking. For deals and discount strategies, check out our guide to Phoenix airport parking coupons and real savings for 2026.

Best Off-Airport Value with a Shuttle

DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Phoenix and Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport North, both about $9/day, are the cheapest off-airport lots that come with a shuttle. Holiday Inn's shuttle is free and runs 4 AM to midnight; DoubleTree's runs 4 AM to 11 PM. For a free shuttle that runs around the clock, Crowne Plaza at about $11/day is the standout, with garage parking (rooftop possible at busy times, which matters in summer heat). It has a 2-day minimum and a 7 ft maximum vehicle height.

Early Morning or Late Night Flights

Choose a lot with a 24/7 shuttle. PreFlight Airport Parking, Crowne Plaza and Sky Harbor Airport Parking (the private lot on S 40th St) all run shuttles around the clock. DoubleTree's shuttle stops at 11 PM and Holiday Inn's at midnight, and neither runs until 4 AM, so a late-night return needs another ride. La Quinta and Howard Johnson have no shuttle at any hour.

EV Charging Needed

None of the lots Triply sells near PHX lists EV charging. For on-airport EV charging, check the PHX charging stations page for current stall locations before you arrive. ADA accessible parking is available at on-airport facilities, and La Quinta, Howard Johnson, Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix Airport North and Sky Harbor Airport Parking list ADA or wheelchair-accessible parking.

Staying ahead of security lines matters just as much as picking the right lot. If you haven't enrolled in TSA PreCheck, it's worth doing before your next PHX trip — shorter lines mean you can cut your terminal arrival time significantly.

2026 Construction Update: Does It Affect the PHX Parking Map?

PHX is mid-way through a major expansion. The $326 million Terminal 3 North 2 Concourse (6 new gates, new lounge, food and beverage) broke ground in April 2025 and is expected to finish in 2027. A post-security pedestrian bridge connecting Terminal 3 to Terminal 4 is also part of the project — completing in 2027, it will eliminate the need to re-clear security when transferring between terminals.

According to the airport's official Terminal 3 construction page, Terminal 3 remains fully operational during construction. No parking closures are expected as a result of the current build. You may encounter temporary detours near the Terminal 3 construction zone on the roadway, but the parking map itself is unchanged for 2026. The West Economy Park & Walk seasonal availability is unaffected by construction.

Find Your PHX Parking Spot Before You Drive to the Airport

Every lot on the phx airport parking map has a different price, location, and access method. The Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 garages are fastest but most expensive at $33/day. East Economy lots give you the free Sky Train for $16/day (uncovered) or $19/day (covered garages). West Economy is the cheapest on-airport option at $10 to $19/day, but only works if you fly Terminal 3 and don't mind a walk. Off-airport lots on Triply start at about $4/day (La Quinta, in Tempe, no shuttle), with shuttle-equipped options from about $9/day.

Booking ahead holds your space at the rate you booked, with free cancellation with a full refund up to 24 hours before check-in. Compare off-airport PHX parking and book your spot on Triply, with lots from about $4/day. On-airport garages and economy lots are booked at skyharbor.com.
