As of October 2026, Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) parking starts at $24/day in Lot G and $28/day in Lot F, the two long-term lots, both served by an airport shuttle. The Terminal Garage at the new terminal is $49/day for self-park and $59/day for valet, and every airport rate includes the City of Burbank parking tax. Southwest Parking Burbank, the off-airport lot on Triply, came to about $21/day for a sample week; it has no shuttle, so call the lot at 818-565-3440 to confirm how to reach the terminal.
BUR opened its new passenger terminal on 13 October 2026, and parking moved with it. This guide covers every official option, the rates, the lot shuttle, pick-up rules, transit and the one bookable off-airport lot. Official rates come from the Hollywood Burbank Airport parking page.

What Changed With the New BUR Terminal
The new terminal opened on 13 October 2026 with its own Terminal Garage, while the long-term lots sit on the south side of the airport along Empire Avenue.
On the airport's parking map, the terminal and garage are on the north side of the airfield, reached by the Terminal Loop Road off N. Hollywood Way. Lots F and G are on Empire Avenue, west of N. Hollywood Way, so plan on the shuttle from those lots. Valet now operates from a Valet Center inside the Terminal Garage, and rideshare pick-up and drop-off are steps from the building, according to the airport's opening-day release.
- Lot C: the airport's current parking page lists only the Terminal Garage, Lot F and Lot G. If you used Economy Lot C before, your long-term choices are now F and G. Our guide to BUR long-term parking in Lots F and G covers the shuttle and costs.
- Parked at the old terminal? Travelers who parked before 13 October have 30 days after that date to collect their cars from the old parking structure and valet center.
- Rates scheduled to rise: the Airport Authority approved the $49 self-park and $59 valet garage rates through 30 June 2027, with a step-up to $54 and $68 from 1 July 2027. Lots F and G are set to stay at $28 and $24.
Terminal Garage (Short-Term Parking)
The Terminal Garage is the closest parking to the new terminal: $9 for the first hour, $5 for each extra 30 minutes, and $49 maximum per day.
It is the airport's short-term option and the place to park when you meet someone. A one-hour stay is $9 and two hours is $19. For a multi-day trip, the garage costs about twice what Lot G does, so it makes sense mainly when you want to walk straight in. The garage has EV charging stations at $0.50/kWh, paid by card at the charger, on top of the posted parking rate. Motorcycles park in the surface lots, not in the garage.
Long-Term Lots F and G
Lot G is $24/day and Lot F is $28/day, and the airport provides a shuttle between both lots and the terminal.
At the terminal, the lot shuttles stop on the ground transportation island in front of the building, at the stop labeled on the airport's map for RITC/Lot G, Lot F, buses and Train Station South. The airport does not publish shuttle frequency for the new terminal. The airport added shuttles for the new terminal, but allow extra time on your first trip. Both lots charge $5 for the first hour and $3 per extra 30 minutes, so they also work for a few hours. Lot G saves $4 a day over Lot F, or $28 over a week.
Valet Parking at BUR
Valet is $59/day at the Valet Center inside the Terminal Garage.
Drop your car at the Valet Center. To get it back, call or text 818.626.3922, use an airport courtesy phone and enter your ticket number, or use an express pay kiosk in the terminal. Valet also offers a full-service car wash and EV charging on request for a $20 handling fee per session. Details are in our BUR valet parking guide with car wash and EV options.
Can You Reserve Parking at Burbank Airport?
Not with the airport right now: BUR says pre-booking is unavailable while it moves to a new parking operator, and drive-up parking is always available in all its lots.
If you want a space booked before you leave home, Southwest Parking Burbank can be reserved on Triply; it has no shuttle, so call the lot at 818-565-3440 to confirm how to reach the terminal before you book. You can also compare Burbank airport parking on Triply for your own dates.
Southwest Parking Burbank (Off-Airport Lot on Triply)
Southwest Parking Burbank, at 4500 Empire Avenue, came to $147.22 for a 7-day sample stay, about $21/day, which is about $21 less than Lot G for the same week (counting 7 Lot G daily maximums).
Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. You drive to the booth, take a ticket stub from the attendant and park in an open space. The lot lists a 24/7 front desk, security and wheelchair access, and bookings are for at least 2 days. Most of the total ($120.60 in our sample) is paid at the lot. Cancel up to the day of arrival for a 100% refund.
The trade-off: the lot runs no shuttle. Its listing's directions were written before the new terminal opened, and the lot sits on Empire Avenue on the south side of the airport, the same side as Lots F and G. Call the lot at 818-565-3440 to confirm the current route to the terminal before you book. Our Southwest Parking Burbank lot guide has the full comparison. The name is the lot's own; it is not tied to Southwest Airlines, which flies from the same terminal as every other BUR airline.
The Cheapest Way to Park at BUR
For a week-long trip, Southwest Parking (about $21/day in our sample) and Lot G ($24/day) are the lowest-cost choices. Southwest Parking has no shuttle, so call the lot at 818-565-3440 to confirm how to reach the terminal.
The airport publishes no coupons or promo codes, and with pre-booking paused there is no airport prepay discount. Our tips for cheap Burbank airport parking compare every option, including skipping the car and taking the train.
Picking Up and Dropping Off at BUR
You can stop at the curb to drop off or collect someone who is already waiting there, but drivers cannot wait at the curb.
If your party is not at the curb yet, the airport tells drivers to park in the short-term Terminal Garage at posted rates and meet in Baggage Claim. The airport does not list a cell phone waiting lot. Rideshare pick-up is at the ground transportation island in front of the main entrance of the parking structure; see the airport's rideshare pick-up instructions. Limousines may drop off at the curb but must pick up in the garage. Hotel and off-airport parking shuttles use the ground transportation islands in front of the terminal.
Getting to BUR by Train or Bus
Metrolink and Amtrak stop at the Burbank Airport-South station on Empire Avenue, and the terminal shuttle stop lists Train Station South as a destination.
Burbank Airport-South is on the Metrolink Ventura County Line and the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner. Metrolink's Antelope Valley Line stops at Burbank Airport-North, near Hollywood Way and San Fernando Road, and the airport's buses and trains page lists a free on-demand shuttle from there, 5:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. (818.729.2245). Two Metro Bus lines and BurbankBus stop at the Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (RITC), where the rental car companies are.
Payment, EV Charging and Accessibility
You pay at an Express Pay Station, the Cashier Booth, or the express lane exit columns at Lot F, Lot G and the Terminal Garage.
Pay stations accept American Express, Diners, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and bank ATM debit cards. For lot conditions, call the parking hotline at 818.729.2245; for other parking questions, call 818.840.8838 or email askparking@bur.org. The new terminal was built to current ADA accessibility requirements; ask the parking office where accessible spaces are in the new garage.
BUR or LAX?
BUR is a single terminal with 14 gates served by Alaska, Allegiant, American, Breeze, Delta, jetBlue, Southwest and United.
The airport recommends arriving at least an hour before your flight, or two hours at peak holidays. If you are weighing Burbank against Los Angeles International, our LAX airport parking guide lays out its lots and rates so you can compare the total trip cost.
