Each extra day is counted from your original arrival time, and you can park for up to 90 days. Sales tax is not included in the posted rates, and the airport does not publish weekly or monthly rates. Our Little Rock airport parking prices breakdown works out what a weekend, a week and two weeks cost in each lot.
Which LIT Parking Lot Should You Use?
Use the Garage for covered parking connected to the terminal, an hourly lot for pick-ups and short trips, or Economy for the lowest rate on anything longer than a few hours.
Terminal Garage ($15/day)
The Terminal Garage is the only covered parking at LIT, and it connects to the terminal through an enclosed skybridge, so there is no shuttle to wait for. Colored lights driven by sensors point you to open spaces inside the deck. Our guide to short-term parking and the LIT garage covers the garage, the hourly lots and the meters in more detail.
East Hourly and West Hourly ($15/day)
East Hourly sits directly in front of the terminal, across from the ticket lobby and baggage claim. Your first 45 minutes are free, then it is $3 per hour up to $15, and overnight parking is not allowed. A few airport news releases place the 45 free minutes in "the East Economy Lot", but the official parking and pick-up pages list them in East Hourly, the lot across from the ticket lobby and baggage claim. West Hourly charges $1 per 20 minutes up to $15 a day and has no shuttle.
East Economy and West Economy ($10/day)
Both Economy lots charge $1 per 20 minutes up to $10 per 24 hours. East Economy has a shuttle to the terminal; the airport added 109 spaces there in February 2026 and two new electric shuttle buses for long-term parking in March 2026. West Economy has no shuttle. The airport does not publish how often the shuttle runs. See our Little Rock long-term parking guide for week-long costs and the shuttle.
How to Pay for Parking at LIT
LIT takes credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay only, with no cash at the exits or the meters.
Since a new parking system went in during 2026, you can scan the QR code printed on your parking ticket to pay from your phone before you reach the exit. You then have 20 minutes to leave the lot before more charges start, and you can scan the same code to get your receipt for up to 48 hours. The airport does not publish a lost-ticket fee; if you lose your ticket, call the parking department at (501) 837-8599.
Free Parking, the Cell Phone Lot and Pick-Up
The free options at LIT are the Cell Phone Lot for waiting drivers and the first 45 minutes in the East Hourly lot.
- Cell Phone Lot: free, on East Roosevelt Road west of the terminal near the west runway. Wait there until your passenger has their bags and calls.
- Pick-up: arriving passengers are picked up at the baggage claim curb, entrance D. Federal rules prohibit waiting at the curb, and unattended vehicles are ticketed or towed.
- Drop-off: curbside in front of the terminal, under a canopy reserved for departing passengers.
- Walking in: use the meters across from baggage claim (30 minutes max) or East Hourly, which is free for 45 minutes.
Uber and Lyft pick up in marked zones near the Parking Deck entrance, through Exit Door F. Taxis wait outside Exit H near Carousel 1, and hotel and van shuttles use the covered commercial curb from Exit D. The airport's drop-off and pick-up page has the details.
Accessible Parking and Disabled Veterans
Handicap spaces in the West Hourly lot and the Terminal Garage cost a maximum of $10 a day, instead of the usual $15.
East Hourly also has handicap parking. The airport does not publish a separate discount or free parking for disabled veterans or military, so expect the posted rates. For wheelchair help at the curb, arrange it with your airline in advance.
Overnight and Long-Stay Rules
East Hourly is the only lot the airport marks as no overnight parking, and you can park for up to 90 days.
A full week (7 times 24 hours) in Economy is $70 before tax. Lots can reach capacity during busy travel periods such as spring break, so the airport suggests checking your options ahead of time and allowing extra time to park.
Getting to LIT by Bus
No fixed Rock Region METRO bus route runs to the airport; LIT is served by METRO Connect, an on-demand ride you book by app or phone.
The airport is in the METRO Connect East Little Rock-Riverdale zone, which runs 5 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 5 PM on weekends. Book with the METRO Connect app or call METRO dispatch at (501) 476-3761. The zone connects to other routes at the River Cities Travel Center downtown. See Rock Region METRO's visitor page for fares and the zone map.
Off-Site Parking Near LIT
One off-site lot near LIT is bookable on Triply, and it cost less than Economy for our sample week.
Wyndham Grand Executive Center, at 3201 Bankhead Drive in Little Rock, is 1.1 miles from the airport. A sample 7-day booking came to $61.62 (about $8.80/day), paid online. The shuttle leaves for the airport every hour from 4:30 AM to midnight, and on your return you call (501) 490-1000 from the Shuttle Pick-Up area outside baggage claim, across from Door D. There is no shuttle between midnight and 4:30 AM. The lot is fully lit with overnight exterior security, and you get a 100% refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival.
Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date.
For the same stay (6 days and 4 hours), Economy comes to $70 before sales tax, so the off-site lot was about $8 less, and more once tax is added. On a short trip it flips: a sample 3-night stay was about $50 off-site against $40 plus tax in Economy. Our comparison of LIT economy and off-site parking goes through both, or you can compare LIT parking on Triply.
New Parking Coming to LIT
The airport plans about 1,700 more parking spaces, including covered parking, as part of its terminal redevelopment, but it has not given an opening date.
The new spaces are planned above part of a geothermal wellfield being built for the terminal's new heating and cooling plant. The airport has also opened a curbside canopy for drop-off and expanded East Economy.
LIT Parking Tips
- Arrive 2 hours early. The airport and airlines recommend at least 2 hours before departure, plus time to park. Check TSA rules before you pack.
- Short trip? Under 3 hours 20 minutes, every $1-per-20-minute lot costs the same, so the Garage saves the walk for no extra money.
- Bring a card or phone wallet. No lot or meter takes cash.
- Using the off-site lot? Its shuttle runs hourly, so get there before the 2-hour window the airlines suggest.
