The LIT Terminal Garage
The Terminal Garage is the only covered parking at LIT, and it links to the terminal through an enclosed skybridge.
It charges $1 per 20 minutes, which works out to $3 an hour, and caps at $15 per 24 hours. Sensor-driven colored lights show you where the open spaces are, and the deck has handicap spaces that are capped at $10 a day. There is no shuttle, since you walk straight in. The airport does not publish the garage's height clearance; call the parking department at (501) 837-8599 if you drive a tall vehicle.
The garage is a fair choice for overnight trips too, at $5 a day more than Economy. For trips of a week or more, our LIT economy parking guide compares Economy with an off-site lot.
East Hourly: 45 Minutes Free
East Hourly is free if you leave within 45 minutes, which makes it the easiest place to park while you walk someone in.
It sits directly in front of the terminal, across from the ticket lobby and baggage claim. Scan your ticket at the exit and, under 45 minutes, you pass through with no charge. After that it is $3 per hour, up to $15 a day. Overnight parking is not allowed here. Some airport news releases describe the free 45 minutes as being in "the East Economy Lot", but the official parking and pick-up pages put them in East Hourly.
West Hourly
West Hourly charges $1 per 20 minutes up to $15 a day, the same as the Garage but uncovered.
It has handicap parking, capped at $10 a day, and no shuttle.
Meters, the Cell Phone Lot and Pick-Up
For a pick-up, wait free in the Cell Phone Lot and meet your passenger at the baggage claim curb, entrance D.
- Cell Phone Lot: free, on East Roosevelt Road west of the terminal, near the west runway. Stay with your car until your passenger calls.
- No curb waiting: federal rules prohibit waiting at the curb, and unattended vehicles are ticketed or towed.
- Meters: across from the baggage claim entrances, $0.75 for 15 minutes or $1.50 for 30 minutes, 30 minutes max. They take cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, not coins.
- Drop-off: curbside in front of the terminal, under the departures canopy.
See the official LIT pick-up and drop-off rules for the full details.
Accessible Short-Term Parking
Handicap spaces are in the Terminal Garage, West Hourly and East Hourly, and in the Garage and West Hourly they are capped at $10 a day.
The Garage is the most convenient accessible option, since the skybridge takes you into the terminal with no shuttle. If a passenger needs a wheelchair at the curb, arrange it with the airline before the trip; the airport says wheelchair help is provided through your air carrier.
Where Rides and Shuttles Pick Up
Each kind of ride has its own exit at baggage claim, so tell your passenger which door to use.
- Private cars: baggage claim curb, entrance D.
- Uber and Lyft: Exit Door F toward Rental Cars, then the crosswalk to the marked zones near the Parking Deck entrance.
- Taxis: outside Exit H on the west side of baggage claim, closest to Carousel 1.
- Hotel and van shuttles: Exit D near Carousel 3, across the crosswalk to the covered commercial curb.
The airport's ground transportation page lists every pickup point.
Short-Term or Economy?
Under 3 hours 20 minutes, Economy and the Garage cost exactly the same, so take the Garage and skip the shuttle.
Past 5 hours, the Garage hits its $15 cap while Economy stops at $10, so for a day trip or longer Economy saves $5 a day. Whichever lot you use, pay by card or phone wallet; there is no cash option, and after you pay by scanning your ticket's QR code you have 20 minutes to exit.
