YOW P4 Parking: Long-Term Lot at C$21/Day or C$105/Week (2026)

As of October 2026, YOW's P4 Long-term/Overheight lot costs C$21.00 per 24 hours, C$105.00 per 7-day period or C$210.00 per 30-day period, making it the cheapest parking on Ottawa airport property. It is an uncovered surface lot a 7-minute walk from the terminal, so there is no shuttle to wait for. For every other option, see our YOW parking overview.

P4 Rates

P4 charges by the half hour for short stays, then caps by the day, week and month.

Rates are from the airport's official parking page, as of October 2026. By our arithmetic, the 7-day rate works out to C$15 a day and the 30-day rate to C$7 a day. For a side-by-side with the Parkade, see our YOW parking rates comparison.

Booking P4 Online

Booking P4 through the airport's reservation system is cheaper than driving up.

For a stay from 10 AM on 13 November to 2 PM on 19 November 2026, the airport quoted C$99.75 including HST: the C$105.00 weekly rate less a 5% online discount. There is no booking fee. You can change the booking for free up to 3 hours before your arrival time, and cancelling costs C$5.00. At the gate you scan the QR code from your confirmation, and you scan it again to leave. Book your entry about 2 hours before you plan to arrive and your exit about 2 hours after your planned return, because time outside the booking is charged at posted rates. The 10 for 30 Offer

If you book a P4 stay of 14 to 30 days, you pay for only 10 days.

That can make P4 good value for long trips: a two-to-four-week stay is priced as 10 days. The airport does not state the exact 10-day price on the offer page, so check your quote when you book. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts such as CAA (20% online) or the CFOne rate for the Canadian Armed Forces (15%), so price both ways. Where P4 Is and How to Get In

P4 is a surface lot a short walk from the terminal, reached from the Airport Parkway.

From the Airport Parkway, turn left at the lights onto Airbus Private, continue to the end, turn right and follow the signs for the Long-term/Overheight lot. The walk to the terminal takes about 7 minutes. Pay stations sit near the exit if you did not prepay.

Who P4 Suits

P4 fits most trips longer than a day, and it is the only public lot for tall vehicles.

• Tall vehicles: the height limit is 3.6 metres, against 2.25 metres in the Parkade, so vans, trucks and cars with roof boxes go here.
• Long trips: the weekly, 30-day and 10 for 30 rates all apply here, not in the Parkade.
• Accessible parking: P4 has accessible spots, but no grace period (the Parkade gives 30 minutes with a valid permit).

The trade-offs: P4 is uncovered, so in winter your car may be under snow when you return (parking staff will dig it out at no charge, at 613-248-4304), and P4 has no EV chargers. The Parkade has free 120V charging.

Tips for Parking in P4

A few minutes of planning makes P4 easier, especially in winter.

• Prepay online: it is cheaper than the gate, and you leave by scanning your QR code instead of stopping at a pay station.
• Pad your booking times: arriving early or leaving late is charged at posted rates, so book about 2 hours either side.
• Note where you parked: it is a large surface lot, and a photo of the nearest sign saves time on a cold night.
• Save the parking office number: 613-248-4304, staffed 24 hours a day, for help at the gate, a free battery boost or help digging out after snow.
• Watch the calendar: P4 rises to C$22.00 per 24 hours and C$110.00 per week from 1 January 2027.

P4 vs Off-Site Parking

For a one-week trip, the off-site Routes lot cost about half as much as P4, if your flight times fit its hours.

For our sample dates, Routes Airport Parking Ottawa came to C$54.34 for 7 days, against C$99.75 for P4 booked online. Routes is 3.5 km from the terminal, and its on-demand shuttle runs only 8 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 5:30 PM on weekends. P4 is a walk from the terminal, with no shuttle to wait for.
