The airport doesn't publish a weekly rate, how a partial final day is billed, or whether these prices include tax. The weekly column is simply seven daily maximums, so treat it as an estimate.

Short-Term Parking Costs

For a stay of a few hours, the Economy lots are cheapest ($6 up to an hour, $9 for 3 to 6 hours), and the garage is closest ($10 up to an hour).

  • Up to 1 hour: Garage $10, Blue Lot $7, Economy $6.
  • 1 to 3 hours: Garage $13, Blue Lot $9, Economy $8.
  • 3 to 6 hours: Garage $15, Blue Lot $11, Economy $9.
  • 6 to 24 hours: Garage $22, Blue Lot $16, Economy $14.

If you're only waiting for an arriving passenger, you don't need to pay at all: the free Cell Phone Lot on Col. Eileen Collins Blvd is for drivers who stay with their car.

Garage Parking Rates

The Parking Garage costs $22/day and is the closest option, directly connected to the terminal with a 1 to 2 minute walk.

It has covered spaces plus an uncovered roof, a 6 ft 10 in clearance, and ADA spaces on Levels 2 and 3 and the roof. A week at the daily maximum would be $154.

Economy and Long-Term Rates

Both Economy lots charge $14/day, the lowest daily rate on the airport, and include a free shuttle every 10 to 12 minutes around the clock.

A seven-day stay at the Economy daily maximum comes to $98. Our Syracuse long-term parking rates guide explains the difference between the Red Lot (walkable) and the Purple Lot (shuttle only).

Monthly Parking

Public monthly parking costs $325/month with a 6-month commitment, signed up through the airport's monthly parking portal.

How to Pay Less for SYR Parking

The airport says discounts are unavailable, and we found no official promo codes or coupons, so the savings come from choosing the right lot and booking ahead.

  1. Pick Economy over the garage. $14 instead of $22 a day saves $8 a day, or $56 over a week at the daily maximum.
  2. Look off-site for longer trips. For our sample week, Candlewood Suites Syracuse Airport parking came to $52.35 (about $7.50/day) against $84 to $98 in Economy. Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date.
  3. Reserve when lots fill up. The airport's online parking reservations guarantee a space in the area you choose. They need 24 hours' notice, add a $2.99 nonrefundable booking fee and use demand-based pricing, so compare the quote with the drive-up rates above.
  4. Use the Cell Phone Lot for pick-ups. It's free, and the garage charges $10 even for a short visit.

Our park and fly guide for Syracuse airport hotels walks through how the Candlewood Suites shuttle works and when Economy is the better pick.

Our Lot vs the Airport's Cheapest Rate

For 13 to 19 November 2026, the hotel lot cost about $32 to $46 less than the Economy lots, depending on how SYR bills the final partial day.

Economy's advantage is its shuttle: every 10 to 12 minutes, 24/7. The hotel's shuttle is on demand from 4 AM to midnight, with nothing from midnight to 4 AM, and you call for your return pickup. The hotel lot offers a 100% refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival.

Paying, Lost Tickets and Citations

SYR accepts credit and debit cards, mobile pay, tap-to-pay and QR codes; it does not accept cash.

The airport doesn't publish a lost-ticket fee. If you can't find your car or your pass won't scan, call the Parking Office at 315-455-3550. Parking citations can be appealed within 17 days, and unpaid ones add a $25 late fee every 30 days.
