As of October 2026, valet parking at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) costs $30 per 24-hour period, with taxes and fees included. You drop your car at the valet booth on the Departure Level curb and pick it up on the Arrivals Level. No reservation is required, but you can book ahead on the airport's valet site.
Rates come from the official JAX parking page. For every other option, see our JAX airport parking guide.
How Much Is Valet Parking at JAX?
JAX valet is $30 per 24-hour period, the highest daily rate at the airport.
| Facility | Hourly | Daily | Weekly | Shuttle or walk |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Valet | Not applicable | $30 per 24 hours | Not published | Curbside at the terminal |
| Hourly Garage | $2 per 30 min on day one | $26 | Not published | Walk |
| Daily Garage | $2 per 30 min on day one | $22 | Not published | Walk |
| Economy Lots | Flat daily rate | $10 | Not published | Free shuttle, about every 15 min |
A 3-day trip with valet is $90 and a 7-day trip $210, against $66 and $154 in the Daily Garage. JAX publishes no weekly valet rate. Valet is also excluded from the JAX Passport frequent parker program and from the free parking for disabled veterans, so DV plates pay the posted valet rate.
How JAX Valet Parking Works
You hand over your car at the curb when you arrive and collect it at the curb when you return.
- Follow the Valet signs to the valet booth, curbside on the Departure Level.
- Leave your car with the attendant and head into the terminal.
- When you land, go to the Arrivals Level and look for the Valet signs to pick up your car.
The service is run by SP Valet Parking. For questions, call 904-741-3900.
Do You Need a Valet Reservation at JAX?
No. The airport says no reservations are required for valet, but you can reserve on its official valet site.
The JAX valet reservation site sets these rules as of October 2026:
- Book at least 12 hours before you arrive.
- Bookings can be made up to 365 days ahead.
- Stays must be between 1 hour and 30 days.
- You can change a booking up to 2 hours before it starts, per the site.
The site describes reserved valet as guaranteed parking. It has a promo code box, but the airport publishes no valet codes. The airport does not publish whether the online price differs from the $30 walk-up rate, so check the total shown at booking.
Is Valet Worth It at JAX?
Valet makes most sense for short trips, heavy luggage, or busy travel days when the garages may be full.
- Garages fill up. The garages fill at busy times, so check the airport's live parking status before you leave. Part of the Hourly Garage remains closed after the 2025 fire. See our JAX parking garage fire update.
- No shuttle, no walk across a lot. You leave and collect the car at the terminal curb.
- The premium adds up. Valet costs $8/day more than the Daily Garage and $20/day more than Economy, so a week costs $56 to $140 more.
Valet vs Self-Park for a Short Trip
For a one- or two-day trip, valet costs only $4 to $8/day more than the garages, which is where it is easiest to justify.
| Trip length | Valet | Hourly Garage | Daily Garage | Daily Surface Lot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 day | $30 | $26 | $22 | $16 |
| 2 days | $60 | $52 | $44 | $32 |
| 3 days | $90 | $78 | $66 | $48 |
These figures are the posted daily rates times the number of days, with taxes and fees included. The garages and surface lot charge $2 per 30 minutes on the first day until the cap, so a visit of a few hours costs less than the full daily rate there, while valet is priced per 24-hour period.
Tips for Using JAX Valet
- Save the SP Valet number, 904-741-3900, before you fly.
- If you are traveling on a busy date, reserve at least 12 hours ahead on the airport's valet site rather than relying on walk-up.
- Check the total on the booking screen before you confirm, since the airport only publishes the $30 walk-up rate.
- On your return, head to the Arrivals Level and follow the Valet signs.
Lower-Cost Alternatives to JAX Valet
For a week-long trip, Economy or an off-site lot costs a fraction of valet.
| Option (7 days) | Total |
|---|---|
| JAX valet | $210 |
| JAX Daily Garage | $154 |
| Wyndham Jacksonville Hotel (formerly Crowne Plaza) | $78.13 |
| JAX Economy Lots | $70 |
| Airlynk Parking | $66.62 |
Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date.
Airport totals are the daily rate times seven, with taxes and fees included. JAX does not publish how a partial final day is billed; if this stay were charged as 6 days, Economy would be $60, about $7 less than Airlynk. Both off-site lots run a shuttle to the terminal; see our JAX off-site parking guide for hours and check-in, or the JAX parking cost breakdown for every facility.
