Palm Beach International was officially renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport on 9 July 2026, and its IATA airport code changed from PBI to DJT on 18 August 2026, according to the airport’s code-change announcement. The airport says the change has no impact on airport services.

Economy Parking: $8/Day

Economy is the cheapest place to park at PBI, at $2 per 20 minutes up to $8 a day.

It is a large surface lot on airport property, about a 5-minute walk from the terminal; the walkway is across from bus stop 5. A free shuttle runs 24 hours Sunday to Thursday, with short gaps early on Friday (1 to 3 AM) and Saturday (1 to 4 AM) mornings. From the lot, press the call button inside any bus stop. There is no cashier between 1 AM and 8:30 AM, so pay by card or SunPass then. Our PBI economy lot guide covers the shuttle, accessible spaces and long-trip costs.

Long-Term Parking: $14/Day

Long-Term parking costs $14 a day and gives you a walk into the terminal instead of a shuttle ride.

It is a garage with a surface lot on each side, with direct access to the terminal on Level 2. You pay by card, cash or SunPass. For a week it costs $98, against $56 in Economy, so it suits travelers who want a garage space and no shuttle wait. The airport also lets you reserve long-term parking online in advance (see below).

Short-Term and Premium Parking

Short-Term is $21 a day in the garage beside the terminal, and Premium is $34 a day in a surface lot right outside Baggage Claim.

Both charge $3 per 20 minutes, so they make sense for a quick drop-off, a meet-and-greet or a one-night trip, not a week away. Premium takes only card or SunPass at the machines, with a cashier at the Main Exit Plaza. Our guide to PBI short-term parking and the garages compares the two garages and the cost of a short visit.

Is There Valet Parking at PBI?

No. The airport lists four self-park options and no valet service.

The closest thing is Premium parking, the lot just outside Baggage Claim, at $34 a day. If you are searching for valet because you want the shortest walk, Short-Term at $21 a day also has direct terminal access.

Where the Lots Are

The garages sit right beside the terminal off James L. Turnage Blvd., and the Economy lot is a large surface lot to the south-east.

The airport is at 1000 James L. Turnage Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33406, near I-95 exits 69 and 69B. Our West Palm Beach airport parking map guide walks through the official map lot by lot, including where to find the cell phone lot.

Reserving Parking at PBI

Yes, the airport sells its own long-term parking reservations online.

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before arrival, for a stay of 24 hours to 30 days. You scan the QR code from your confirmation email at the gate instead of pulling a ticket. The airport does not publish its reserved prices on its parking page, so check them against the drive-up rates above. Off-site, you can also prepay a space at the West Palm Beach Marriott on Triply (next section).

Off-Site Parking: West Palm Beach Marriott

The off-site lot we sell near PBI is the West Palm Beach Marriott, 2.6 miles away in downtown West Palm Beach, at about $8.80/day for our sample week.

Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. For this week, the Marriott cost about $5.70 more than Economy but about $36 less than Long-Term. What you get for it: a space booked and paid for in advance, a full refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival, and a downtown location near the convention center and Brightline station. The lot's listing describes a shuttle to and from the airport every 30 minutes, 6 AM to midnight; call the hotel at 561-833-1234 to confirm before you travel. The lot has no in-and-out privileges. See West Palm Beach Marriott parking on Triply, or our guide to cheap parking near PBI airport for every way to cut the cost.

Picking Someone Up at PBI

Wait for free in the Cell Phone Waiting Lot, then meet your passenger at the curb.

Baggage claim and ground transportation are on Level 1. Uber and Lyft pick up on the outer curb of Level 3 (Departures), per the airport's ground transportation page. If you want to walk in and meet someone, Short-Term or Premium parking is closest; at $3 per 20 minutes, an hour costs $9.

Getting to PBI Without Parking

A Palm Tran bus stop is on the outer curb of Level 1, and Tri-Rail riders can connect from the West Palm Beach station.

According to Tri-Rail, the connection from its West Palm Beach station to the airport on Palm Tran Route 2 is free with a valid Tri-Rail fare, and rides from the airport to the station need no fare. A Palm Tran shuttle also links the airport with the West Palm Beach Amtrak station at 201 S Tamarind Ave.

PBI vs Fort Lauderdale and Miami Parking

Many South Florida travelers can choose between PBI, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and PBI's Economy lot is $8 a day. If you are weighing flights from the other two, compare our Fort Lauderdale airport parking guide and Miami airport parking guide before you book, since the parking bill adds to the fare on a long trip.

Rules to Know Before You Park

  • 30-day limit: cars parked more than 30 days are treated as abandoned and towed. Call Parking at (561) 471-7459 for longer stays.
  • Lost ticket: the daily maximum for each 24 hours, or part of one.
  • Oversized vehicles: anything using more than one space, such as a truck towing a trailer, pays for every space. No commercial vehicles or fifth-wheel trailers.
  • Disabled veterans: free parking only with a Florida DV plate, specialized equipment such as ramps or hand controls, or a Florida Toll Exemption Permit. Other accessible parking pays the normal rate.
  • Hurricanes: standard rates apply during storms, and the garages are for people taking a commercial flight, not car storage.
  • SunPass Plus: use the SunPass Plus lanes to enter and pay on exit.

Tips for Parking at PBI

  • Going for more than a day? Economy at $8 beats Long-Term by $6 a day.
  • Short stay? Economy hits its $8 cap after an hour, Long-Term and Short-Term after 2 hours.
  • Leaving early on a weekend? Allow for the Friday and Saturday early-morning shuttle gaps, or walk from Economy. Give yourself time for security; TSA posts screening rules.
  • Want it settled before you leave? Reserve Long-Term with the airport, or prepay the Marriott on Triply.
