Pittsburgh International Airport Parking Cost: $8 to $38 a Day (2026)

As of October 2026, Pittsburgh International Airport parking costs $8 to $38 a day before 11.5% tax: the Shuttle Lot is $8 prebooked or $12 drive-up, the Terminal Lot $18 or $28, the Terminal Garage $28 or $38, and PIT Executive $35 (reservation only). A 7-day trip in the Shuttle Lot comes to about $62.44 prebooked with tax.

Each official facility has a lower prebook rate and a higher drive-up rate, and every rate excludes 11.5% tax.

Short-Term and Hourly Parking Rates at PIT

For a quick stay, the Shuttle Lot is cheapest at $5 for up to 2 hours, while the Terminal Garage charges $8 for up to 30 minutes.

• Free Wait Lot: first hour free, up to 2 hrs $5, up to 4 hrs $10, then $12/day. For pickups only.
• Shuttle Lot: up to 2 hrs $5, up to 3 hrs $10, then $12/day.
• Terminal Lot: up to 2 hrs $15, then $28/day.
• Terminal Garage: up to 30 min $8, up to 1 hr $12, up to 2 hrs $18, then $38/day.

PIT Garage Rates

The Terminal Garage costs $28/day prebooked or $38/day drive-up, plus tax.

You pay for a covered space a 3 to 5 minute walk from the terminal, with a covered walkway through the Customer Service Building. The Terminal Lot offers the same walk uncovered for $10/day less at either rate.

Prebook vs Drive-Up: What You Save

Prebooking 7+ days ahead cuts $4/day at the Shuttle Lot and $10/day at the Terminal Lot and Terminal Garage.

PIT Executive has no drive-up rate. The airport does not say whether a reservation fee applies, so check the total before you pay. Per the airport's FAQ, official reservations can be changed or canceled any time before the scheduled entry date and time.

Parking Tax at PIT

PIT parking carries 11.5% tax on top of every posted rate: a 2.5% school tax plus a 9.0% township tax.

That turns the $8 Shuttle Lot rate into $8.92/day and the $12 drive-up rate into $13.38/day.

Worked Example: What 7 Days of Parking at PIT Costs

For a 7-day trip, the cheapest official option is the prebooked Shuttle Lot at $62.44 with tax, and the most expensive is the Terminal Garage at the drive-up rate, $296.59.

How we did the math: official rows are the airport's daily rate x 7, plus 11.5% tax. They assume the airport charges 7 daily rates for the trip, which PIT does not publish, and the prebook figures are "as low as" rates that can be higher on your dates. Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 13 November, check-out 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. That booking (10:00 AM check-in, 2:00 PM check-out) was billed as 7 days.

On these numbers, Globe was about $2.40 more than the prebooked Shuttle Lot, but about $29 less than its drive-up rate. The biggest saving is booking at least 7 days ahead, followed by choosing the Shuttle Lot over the terminal facilities.

How You Pay at the Gate

Gate terminals and pay stations take card, Apple Pay and contactless only. Cash is accepted only at the cashier lanes at the exit plazas, and checks are not accepted. The PIT Express Pass transponder, or a registered E-ZPass tag, lets you pay on the go.
