As of October 2026, the cheapest parking at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) is Lot E at $22 per 24 hours, with a free shuttle that runs 24 hours a day. Garage B and Lot D are $31 a day, Garage A, the closest covered garage, is $39, and every posted on-airport rate includes taxes. Booking Lot E ahead on the airport's own parking site cost less still in our sample week: $126 for six days and four hours, about $18 a day.

This guide covers every official lot, how PVD counts a parking day, reservations, the free cell phone lot, the station garage at the InterLink and the one off-airport lot you can book on Triply. Official rates come from the airport's parking site, parkpvdairport.com, which the airport's own website links as its parking page.

PVD bills by 24-hour periods that start when you enter, not by calendar day, and a lost ticket costs the daily maximum for each day since you parked. Posted rates include taxes and the Rhode Island parking surcharge. The airport publishes no weekly or monthly rates, so a week in Lot E at the gate is 7 × $22, or $154. For every hourly step and sample trip costs, see our full TF Green airport parking rates table.

Which PVD Parking Lot Should You Use?

For trips longer than a day, Lot E is the best value; for short visits, Lot D or the free cell phone lot make more sense.

  • Lot E (long term): $22 a day, 1,786 spaces on airport property, and a free, ADA-accessible shuttle that runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our Lot E guide with shuttle tips covers where it is and how the ride works.
  • Garage B: $31 a day, covered, 734 spaces, connected to Garage A by a covered walkway. Clearance is 7'2".
  • Garage A: $39 a day, covered, 1,504 spaces, directly next to the terminal with a covered walkway to departures and arrivals. Clearance is 8'2", and EV charging is on Level 2.
  • Lot D: $31 a day, 529 spaces directly in front of the terminal, with EV charging under the Skywalk and free help finding your car. It works for short stays and for overnight parking.
  • Lot O: $14 a day, reservation only, at 581 Airport Road about 1.4 miles away. A notice on its page said it was closed as of October 2026.

Looking for Garage C or a valet desk? The airport's parking site lists only Garages A and B and Lots D, E and O, and it lists no valet service at PVD.

Can You Reserve Parking at PVD?

Yes. The airport's parking site takes reservations for Lot E, Lot D, Garage B and Garage A, and a reservation guarantees your space until that lot's quota fills.

For our sample stay (10 AM Friday 13 November to 2 PM Thursday 19 November 2026), the airport's booking page showed these reserve-ahead prices on 23 October: Lot E $126, Lot D $204, Garage B $217 and Garage A $254.60. Lot E's online price was $28 less than the $154 you would pay at the gate for the same stay. Some lot pages note that reservation fees may apply.

The rules: you enter and exit once (no in and out), scan the QR code from your confirmation email at the gate, and can cancel up to 24 hours before the start time. You cannot change a booking; you cancel and rebook. Around the holidays reservation quotas fill quickly, though the airport says drive-up space may still be available. Our ways to save on TF Green parking explain when booking ahead pays off.

DoubleTree by Hilton Providence Airport (Off-Airport Lot on Triply)

The DoubleTree by Hilton Providence Airport, at 2081 Post Road 0.6 miles from PVD, came to $131.78 for the same sample week, about $19 a day, with a shuttle that runs 24/7 on demand.

Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. That is $5.78 more than reserving Lot E ahead on the airport's site, and $22.22 less than driving up to Lot E without a reservation. What you get for it: a hotel lot with a 24/7 front desk, an on-demand shuttle at any hour, and a 100% refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival. You pay the full amount when you book.

Check in at the hotel front desk before you park. When you land, collect your bags, call the hotel at 401-739-3000 and go to the ground transportation area for pick-up. Book the DoubleTree Providence Airport lot or compare PVD parking on Triply for your own dates. Our TF Green park and fly hotel guide has the full side-by-side.

The Cheapest Way to Park at PVD

Reserve Lot E online: in our sample week it came to $126, about $18 a day, against $22 a day at the gate.

The airport publishes no coupon codes right now, and its old coupon pages no longer load. Its Park Smart Rewards program gives you $25 in Rewards Cash for every $250 you spend with an enrolled card. If you are only collecting someone, the cell phone lot is free. Our TF Green airport parking coupon and discount guide covers each option.

The InterLink at 700 Jefferson Boulevard has a 458-space commuter garage at the MBTA station, linked to the terminal by a skywalk; the MBTA lists it at $5 for the first 24 hours and $35 for each additional 24 hours.

That makes it cheap for a same-day trip and expensive for anything longer: three days come to $75, and our sample week to $215. The airport's parking site does not list this garage as an airport parking option, so call the parking office at 401-737-7275 before you use it for a flight. Our guide to the TF Green station parking garage and MBTA train has directions and train details.

Picking Up and Dropping Off at PVD

The curb is for immediate drop-off and pick-up only; for longer waits, use the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot at 2200 Post Road or park in Lot D.

The cell lot has 52 spaces, is about a one-minute drive from the arrivals curb, is patrolled by RIAC Police and has portable restrooms. You must stay with your car. From I-95 Exit 29, bear left for arrivals and right for departures. Federal law bans waiting in front of the terminal, so numbered red signs on the pillars help your passenger tell you where they are standing, per the airport's pick-up and drop-off page. Rideshare pick-up is on the outer arrivals roadway outside baggage claim.

Getting to PVD Without Parking

MBTA commuter rail stops at the InterLink on weekdays only, and RIPTA buses 1, 20 and 66 stop in front of the terminal.

Trains run between Wickford Junction, the airport, Providence and Boston. RIPTA route 14 stops at the InterLink. By car, downtown Providence is about 10 minutes (8.5 miles) away.

PVD is about 59 miles and 71 minutes from Boston by car, according to the airport's parking site, so many Boston-area travelers weigh it against Logan. Our Boston Logan airport parking guide lays out Logan's options if you are comparing the two.

When to Arrive at PVD

Plan on two hours before flights leaving 6 to 8 a.m. or 4 to 6 p.m. and during school vacation weeks, and at least one hour at other times, per the airport's travel tips. If you park in Lot E or off airport, add time for the shuttle.

Accessibility, EV Charging and Height Limits

Every PVD lot and garage has accessible parking: Garage A on levels 1 and 3, Garage B on level 1, and spaces in Lots D and E, whose shuttle is ADA-accessible.

  • EV charging: Garage A Level 2 and Lot D under the Skywalk. The airport does not publish charging prices.
  • Height limits: Garage A 8'2", Garage B 7'2". Taller vehicles should use a surface lot.
  • Questions: LAZ Parking runs the airport lots: 401-737-7275 or tfgreen@lazparking.com.
