The airport's parking FAQ says there are no taxes or fees on top of the posted on-airport rates; they already include the Rhode Island parking surcharge. A lost ticket is charged the lot's daily maximum for each day since you parked.

How PVD Counts a Parking Day

PVD charges by 24-hour periods that start when you pull a ticket, not by calendar day.

Park at 10 AM and leave at 9 AM the next day, and you pay one day. Leave at 2 PM instead, and the extra four hours are charged at the hourly steps, up to that lot's daily maximum. In Lot E any stay over two hours reaches the $22 maximum, so a trip of six days and four hours costs seven charges, or $154. In Lot D, three extra hours cost $14 rather than a full $31. The airport's parking FAQ explains the 24-hour rule.

What Common Trips Cost at the Gate

A three-day trip runs $66 in Lot E and $117 in Garage A, at posted rates with no reservation.

Lot E$22
Garage B$31
Lot D$31
Garage A$39

Reserve-Ahead Prices vs the Gate

Booking Lot E online was the clear saving in our sample week: $126 against $154 at the gate.

For a stay from 10 AM Friday 13 November to 2 PM Thursday 19 November 2026 (six days and four hours), the airport's booking page showed these prices on 23 October.

Lot E
Reserved online$126.00
At the gate (our math)$154
Lot D
Reserved online$204.00
At the gate (our math)$204 to $217
Garage B
Reserved online$217.00
At the gate (our math)$213 to $217
Garage A
Reserved online$254.60
At the gate (our math)$261 to $268

The gate figure for Lot D and the garages is a range because the airport's tables don't say which band an exact four-hour remainder falls in. Some lot pages note that reservation fees may apply. Online prices change by date, so check yours. Our guide to TF Green parking discounts covers when booking ahead is worth it and the Park Smart Rewards program.

Short-Term Parking Rates

For under an hour, every lot charges $7; for two hours, Lot D is cheapest at $11.

Lot D sits directly in front of the terminal, so it is the usual choice for meeting a flight or walking someone in. Garages A and B charge $14 for two hours and Lot E $15. To wait for an arriving passenger without paying, use the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot at 2200 Post Road; the curb is for immediate pick-up only. The official Lot D page lists its hourly steps.

Is There a Garage C at PVD?

No Garage C appears on the airport's parking site; it lists Garages A and B and Lots D, E and O.

The other garage near the terminal is the commuter garage at the InterLink, which the MBTA lists at $5 for the first 24 hours and $35 for each day after. It suits same-day trips, not long ones; see our InterLink station garage rates and directions.

Long-Term Parking Rates

Lot E is PVD's long-term lot at $22 a day, with a free shuttle around the clock.

A week there is $154 at the gate, or less online. Our Lot E rates and shuttle guide has the details.

How Off-Airport Parking Compares

The DoubleTree by Hilton Providence Airport lot, 0.6 miles from PVD, came to $131.78 for the same sample week, about $19 a day.

Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. That is $5.78 more than Lot E booked online, $22.22 less than Lot E at the gate, and well below any garage. It includes a 24/7 on-demand shuttle and a full refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival. Check DoubleTree lot prices for your dates or see our park and fly hotel guide for PVD.
