Off-Site Parking vs BHM's Own Lots

For our sample week Ramada came in under the airport's cheapest option and National about matched it, and both give you a reserved space.

Official figures use the posted rates on the official BHM parking page. They are ranges because the airport does not publish how it bills the last partial day, and it does not say whether tax is included.

• Ramada: about $14 to $16 less than Economy for this stay. The trade-off is the shuttle gap from 11 PM to 4:30 AM.
• National: about the same as Economy ($0 to $2 less), with a 24/7 shuttle and an attendant on site.
• Economy: the airport-run choice, with a shuttle you do not have to call. See our BHM economy parking shuttle guide.

Who Should Park Off Site at BHM?

Off-site parking makes most sense for trips of a few days or more, when the daily saving adds up and a reserved space matters.

• Week-long trips: for our sample week the off-site lots were about $0 to $16 less than Economy and $42 to $65 less than the Daily deck.
• Busy travel periods: a booking holds your space, while the airport's self-park areas cannot be reserved.
• Late-night arrivals: choose National, since its shuttle runs 24/7.

The deck is the better fit if you want to walk straight to the terminal, and Hourly is the right call for a stay under 4 hours. Our BHM parking rates breakdown prices every option. Getting dropped off instead? See the airport's rideshare pick-up and drop-off page.
