These rates come from the official BHM parking page and took effect on 1 July 2025, the first rate restructuring since 2008. If you see older, lower figures elsewhere, they predate that change. The airport does not publish weekly rates or say whether tax is included.
Hourly Parking Rate at BHM
Hourly parking costs $2.00/hour, up to $26.00/day, on level 3 of the parking deck.
The airport intends Hourly for stays under 4 hours, such as meeting a flight or a quick errand. Two hours costs $4, three hours $6. Because the daily cap is $26, it is the most expensive self-park area for anything overnight.
Daily Parking Rate at BHM
Daily parking costs $2.00/hour, up to $17.00/day, on level 2 and levels 4 through 7 of the deck.
Daily is meant for stays over 4 hours and is the closest place to park for a trip, since the deck is next to the terminal and you walk in. The 6'2" height limit applies here, as it does in Hourly.
Economy Parking Rate at BHM
Economy costs $2.00/hour, up to $10.00/day, and is the cheapest official option for any trip longer than a day.

Valet and Oversized Rates
Valet costs $28/day or $18 for a partial day, and Oversized parking costs $17/day.
LAZ Parking runs valet on the departing flight ramp. You can reserve online and pay when you book. For questions, call LAZ at (205) 767-2147. Oversized parking is on level 1 of the deck with an 8'2" height limit, and the airport says it will soon move to the Economy Lot.
How Much Is Parking at BHM for a Week?
A week in Economy costs about $70 at $10/day, compared with about $119 in the Daily deck and about $196 with valet.
Here is what a sample stay from 10 AM on 13 November to 2 PM on 19 November 2026 (6 days and 4 hours) would cost. The airport does not publish how it bills the last partial day, so the official totals are a range: the low end bills the extra 4 hours at $2.00/hour, the high end bills a full extra day.

How to Pay Less for BHM Parking
The biggest saving is choosing the right facility: Economy is $7/day less than the Daily deck and $16/day less than Hourly.
- Skip Hourly for trips. Overnight in Hourly costs $26/day, while the Daily section of the same deck is $17.
- Use Economy if you do not mind a shuttle. At $10/day it is the lowest official rate, and the shuttle runs 24/7.
