A sample 7-day stay came to $52.80, about $7.54/day, against $9/day in the airport's Economy Lot.

Because the shuttle runs every 30 minutes rather than every 5 to 7 like the Economy Lot bus, leave extra time. The airport recommends being at the terminal 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international ones.

Wyndham vs the Airport's Own Lots

For the sample week the Wyndham cost about $10 less than the Economy Lot and far less than the garage or valet.

Other Ways to Reach the Terminal

If you don't want to park at all, IndyGo Route 8 runs from downtown to the airport, and Uber and Lyft pick up at the Ground Transportation Center.

The Ground Transportation Center is on the first floor of the airport's Terminal Garage, and taxis wait at the lower-level curb outside Baggage Claim with a $15 minimum fare. For drivers, the airport is off I-70 at exit 68, at 7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive.

A Hotel at the Airport Is Coming

The Westin Indianapolis International Airport is under construction on the airport campus and is due to open by the end of 2027.

According to the airport's announcement, it will have 253 rooms, its own parking with valet, and a pedestrian passage straight to the airport's parking garage. It is not open yet, so for now hotel park and fly at IND means an off-airport hotel with a shuttle.
