Long-Term Parking Rates at IND
Economy is $9 a day and Park & Walk is $14 a day, with no weekly or monthly rate.
| Lot | Per day | 3 days | 7 days | 14 days | To the terminal |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Economy Lot | $9 | $27 | $63 | $126 | Free shuttle every 5 to 7 min, 24/7 |

Totals are one daily charge per 24 hours, rounded up, which is how the airport's own calculator counts. The airport says Economy parking is $9 per day "with no additional fees". Rates are from the airport's Economy Lot page, and neither long-term rate changed when garage and valet rates rose in 2024.
Economy Lot Shuttle: How Often and How Long
Economy Lot shuttles run 24/7 and stop at each shelter every 5 to 7 minutes.
The airport says it takes about 15 minutes on average from parking your car to arriving at the Ground Transportation Center on the garage's first floor, then about 5 minutes on foot to the ticket counters and TSA. From the Ground Transportation Center you take escalators or elevators to the climate-controlled Pedestrian Bridge. If the display in your shelter shows a wait over 10 minutes, call the Parking Supervisor at 317-487-5017. The Economy Lot page also has a live shuttle tracker you can open on your phone.
Indianapolis Airport Economy Parking Map and Shelters
The Economy Lot lies beyond Park & Walk, farther from the terminal, and its shuttle shelters are numbered 10 to 22.
The airport's parking map (PDF) shows two Economy Lot entrances off Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive, the shelter numbers, and the exits. Note your shelter number when you park; it is the easiest way to find your car on the way back. The Economy Lot has nearly 8,000 spaces. Each shelter has an emergency phone, the lot is lit, and it is patrolled by parking staff and airport police and watched by security cameras.
Park & Walk: When It's Worth $5 More
Park & Walk suits travelers who would rather walk 8 to 9 minutes than wait for a shuttle.
It sits between the garage and the Economy Lot, with a lighted path to the terminal. There is no shuttle, and it is credit card only, so you can't pay cash on the way out. Over a week it costs $35 more than Economy. Details are on the airport's Park & Walk page.
Paying and Leaving the Long Term Lot
You take a ticket on the way in and pay as you leave, by card or at a cashier.
- Economy: pay by card at the pay station inside the Ground Transportation Center before you board the shuttle, or at any exit pay station. Cash is accepted at the cashier booths. The airport map marks one Economy exit as credit card only.
- Park & Walk: card only, at the exit pay station.
- Lost ticket: see a cashier at the exit with your flight itinerary; a supervisor will process you out.
- Car trouble: help finding your car, tire inflation and jump-starts are free around the clock on 317-487-5017.
Weekly, Monthly and Extended Parking
IND has no weekly or monthly rate; extended stays are charged at the daily rate.
Two weeks in Economy is $126. If you fly often, the airport's free parkIND Plus program gives one point per dollar, and 300 points buys a free Economy day, roughly one free day for every 33 days you park. Our Indianapolis airport parking cost and savings guide explains the program and the cheapest option for your trip length.
A Long-Term Lot You Can Book
If you want a space confirmed before you leave, Wyndham Indianapolis Airport came in slightly under Economy for a sample week.
Wyndham Indianapolis Airport is a hotel lot about 2.1 miles from the airport with a free shuttle 24/7 on demand every half hour. A 7-day stay came to $52.80, about $7.54 a day, against $63 in the Economy Lot for the same dates. The margin is small and can flip on other dates. Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. You call the hotel before you arrive and again once you have your bags. See our Indianapolis airport hotel parking guide for the full comparison.
