Reno Airport Offsite Parking: 2 Lots From About $11/Day vs RNO Lots (2026)

As of October 2026, two off-site lots near RNO are bookable on Triply: Best Western Plus Sparks-Reno, 2.7 miles away, at about $11/day, and SureStay Plus, 0.8 miles away, at about $19/day, both including fees for a sample 7-day booking with a 24/7 on-demand shuttle. The airport's cheapest lot, Park & Walk, is $16/day with no shuttle.

Off-Site Parking Near Reno Airport: The Two Lots

Best Western is farther out and cheaper; SureStay is across the street from the airport and costs more.

Best Western Plus Sparks-Reno

Best Western Plus Sparks-Reno was the lowest total in our sample search at $79.08 for 7 days, about $11 per day.

It is at 55 E Nugget Ave in Sparks, 2.7 miles from the airport. Parking is uncovered, with accessible spaces and EV charging, and the hotel has a 24-hour front desk. Check in at the front desk when you arrive, and allow 30 to 45 minutes before you need to leave for the airport. The shuttle runs 24/7 on demand. When you land, collect your bags, call 775-358-6900, and the shuttle picks you up outside Door D.

No oversized vehicles or RVs. Larger SUVs and trucks are fine if they fit one standard space; if yours needs two, book two.

SureStay Plus

SureStay Plus is the closest lot to RNO at 0.8 miles, a two-minute drive across the street, and cost $132.05 for the sample week, about $19 per day.

It is at 1981 Terminal Way. You can ride the 24/7 on-demand shuttle or walk to the terminal via the crosswalk. Bring a printed copy of your reservation to the front desk to get a parking pass; a car without a valid pass may be towed or booted. Allow an extra 30 minutes for registration, parking and the shuttle. To come back, call 775-348-6370 after collecting your bags.

The minimum booking is 2 days. Vehicles 24 feet or longer, or towing a trailer, must buy enough spaces to fit. Don't park in accessible spaces or the spaces by the lobby, restaurant or hotel wall. The booking is for personal vehicles only, not rental-car or commercial drop-offs.

Off-Site vs the RNO Lots: Which Is Cheaper?

For the sample week, Best Western cost less than every official lot, while SureStay cost more than Park & Walk and about $6 more than the Surface Lot.

Best Western saves about $33 over Park & Walk for the week and adds a shuttle, but it is 2.7 miles out. SureStay costs about $20 more than Park & Walk; what you get is a shuttle (Park & Walk has none), a space booked ahead, and a lot across the street from the airport. Against the Long-Term Garage at $22 per day it is about $22 less for the week, though the garage connects to the terminal by skywalk. What to Bring and When to Arrive

For SureStay, bring a printed copy of your reservation; build in 30 to 45 minutes at Best Western and an extra 30 minutes at SureStay before you need to leave for the airport.

Both lots check you in at the front desk before the shuttle leaves. On the way back, both ask you to call once you have collected your bags. Rideshare, taxis and shuttles at RNO use the ground transportation area outside baggage claim Door D.

When Off-Site Parking Makes Sense at RNO

Off-site parking makes most sense when you want a booked space without paying the Long-Term Garage rate.

• Peak dates: RNO lots can fill in as little as 20 minutes around holidays and Washoe County school breaks, and full lots send you to overflow parking.
• Longer trips: the per-day gap with Park & Walk adds up over a week.
• Lots of luggage: a shuttle beats a 10 to 15 minute walk from Park & Walk.
