Which SAV Lot Should You Use?
For a trip of a day or more, Lots A, B or D at $7/day are the best value if you don't mind a longer walk; pick a garage if you want covered parking closer to the door.
- Terminal Parking ($18/day): four-level garage, 1,680 spaces, 150 feet from the terminal, covered walkways and a Signal Park display showing open spaces. Best for short stays and travelers who want the shortest walk.
- Economy Parking ($12/day): two-level garage, 2,000 spaces, 385 feet from the terminal, covered walkways.
- Lots A and B ($7/day): surface lots 878 feet from the terminal with walkways. The airport calls Lot B "a low-cost parking option".
- Lot D ($7/day): surface lot 1,200 feet from the terminal.
- Lot C ($7/day): 1,300 feet out and open only when the airport needs overflow parking.
Our SAV long-term lots guide works through trip lengths and the walk from each lot.
Maintenance Notices
As of October 2026, the airport listed the fourth level of Terminal Parking as closed for maintenance through 31 October 2026 and the North Economy Garage as closed through 18 November 2026; check current status on its parking page before you go.
The airport doesn't say whether any other economy space stays open while the North Economy Garage is closed.
Can You Reserve Parking at SAV?
No. The airport says parking is first come, first served and there are no reservations: you pay when you leave.
The airport has also said that near-terminal parking filled up on busy weekends, which is one reason it raised rates in 2024 to pay for more spaces. If you want a space booked before you leave, the only option on Triply is an off-airport lot (below). The airport doesn't publish a parking rewards program, discount codes or a military parking discount.
Off-Airport Parking on Triply: Candlewood Suites
You can book Candlewood Suites at 50 Stephen South Green Drive, about 2.3 miles from SAV, for $58.53 for a sample 7-day stay (about $8.36/day), which costs more than the airport's $7 surface lots.
| Option, 13 to 19 November 2026 | 7-day total | Per day | Getting to the terminal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lots A, B or D | $49 | $7 | Walk, 878 to 1,200 ft |
| Candlewood Suites (Triply) | $58.53 | about $8.36 | No shuttle; book your own rideshare or taxi |
| Economy Parking | $84 | $12 | Walk, 385 ft |
| Terminal Parking | $126 | $18 | Walk, 150 ft |
The hotel lot has no shuttle: the shuttle was discontinued, so you arrange and pay for your own ride to and from the airport each way. What you get is a booked space, paid in full online, with a 100% refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival, and the listing says there is no extra charge for full-size vans, pickups and large SUVs. Check in at the front desk, then park behind the hotel; call the hotel at 912-483-1600 with questions. Triply prices are for the sample dates shown, include fees and change by date. See more dates on the Savannah airport parking page.
Valet Parking at SAV
Valet costs $35/day, with drop-off on the Ticketing/Departure Level (Level Two) from 4:30 am and pick-up on the Baggage/Arrivals Level (Level One).
The airport's FAQ lists valet hours as 4:30 am to 12:30 am, and its parking page says pick-up runs through the last scheduled arrival. Someone else can collect your car if they bring their driver's license and a picture of the valet ticket. The airport doesn't publish a separate valet phone number; its general line is (912) 964-0514. Valet can't be reserved. For a week, valet is $245 against $49 in the surface lots; the SAV overnight and daily rates page compares every option night by night.
Picking Someone Up: Cell Lot and Curb Rules
Wait in the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot, then pull up to the curb only once your traveler is outside.
The curb is for immediate loading and unloading only, and the airport warns that unattended vehicles may be ticketed and towed under federal security rules. In the cell lot you must stay with your car. If you'd rather meet inside, park in a garage at $2 an hour; a 1-hour stop is $2 and the hourly garage guide lists short-stay costs. Rideshare pick-up is at the north entrance of baggage claim, and taxis wait on the lower level outside baggage claim, per the airport's ground transportation page.
Accessible, EV and Oversized Parking
Accessible spaces are in both garages, EV charging is in Terminal Parking and oversized vehicles go to Lot A by arrangement.
- Accessible parking: handicap-accessible spaces in Terminal Parking and Economy; placard or plate holders pay the posted rate. Departures drop-off is on the upper level, and red phones at the curb reach customer care for wheelchair help.
- EV charging: five PEP charging spaces on the lower level of Terminal Parking. The airport doesn't publish a charging price.
- Height limits: 7 ft in Terminal Parking, 8 ft in Economy.
- Oversized vehicles: call (912) 964-0514 x 5503 to arrange parking in Lot A.
Lost Ticket and Paying
If you lose your ticket, go to the first booth on the left at the exit plaza and show your boarding pass to the attendant.
The airport doesn't publish a lost-ticket fee or list which cards it accepts; payment is at the automated machines at the exit plaza. Free luggage carts are in the parking deck and baggage claim.
How Early to Arrive
The airport recommends arriving 2 to 3 hours before your flight to allow time for parking, check-in and security.
In peak periods it asks you to allow extra time for parking, and most flights board 30 to 45 minutes before departure. Check TSA for what you can carry through security.
