SAV Long Term Hourly Parking: $2/Hour, $18/Day Garage 150 Feet From the Terminal (2026)

SAV's Long Term/Hourly garage, signed as Terminal Parking, costs $2 an hour up to $18/day as of October 2026, and it is the closest parking to the terminal at 150 feet away. A 1-hour stop is $2, a 4-hour stop $8, and a stay of 9 hours or more hits the $18 daily maximum.

Long Term/Hourly Garage Rates

You pay $2 for each hour up to $18 for the day, then $18 for each further day.

Hourly and daily rates are from the airport's parking page; the hourly steps assume $2 per started hour, and the airport doesn't publish how partial hours or days are billed. The same $2 hourly rate applies in every SAV lot, so for a stop of 3 hours or less the garage costs the same as the surface lots.

What the Garage Offers

Terminal Parking is a four-level garage with 1,680 spaces and covered walkways to the terminal.

• 150 feet from the terminal, the shortest walk at SAV.
• Signal Park system showing how many spaces are free.
• Handicap-accessible spaces; placard or plate holders pay the posted rate.
• Five PEP EV charging spaces on the lower level (charging price not published).
• 7 ft height clearance. Taller vehicles can use Economy (8 ft) or arrange oversized parking in Lot A at (912) 964-0514 x 5503.

The airport listed the fourth level as closed for maintenance through 31 October 2026; check current status on its parking page before you go.

Short-Term Parking for Pick-Ups

For a pick-up, the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot costs nothing; the garage at $2 an hour is the choice if you want to meet your traveler inside.

The curb is for immediate loading and unloading only, and the airport's travel tips and FAQs say not to park at the curb while waiting for arrivals; if you are coming from far away, they suggest you park and wait inside. Valet pick-up is on the Baggage/Arrivals Level if you parked with valet.

Is the Garage Worth It for a Long Trip?

For a long trip, the garage costs $11 a day more than Lots A, B and D: a week is $126 against $49.

The trade is the walk: 150 feet under cover versus 878 feet or more on walkways from the surface lots. The Economy garage sits in between at $12/day and 385 feet. Garage, Economy or Surface Lot for a Short Trip?

For 3 hours or less, every lot costs the same $2 an hour, so the garage is the obvious pick; past that, the caps start to differ.

These figures assume $2 per hour up to each lot's daily cap. For a same-day business trip of 8 hours or more, the surface lots save you $9 to $11 if you can handle a walk of 878 feet or more.

Booking Instead of Driving Up

The airport doesn't take reservations for the garage or any lot, so you can't book a garage space in advance.

The only bookable option near SAV on Triply is Candlewood Suites, an off-airport hotel lot about 2.3 miles away: $58.53 for a sample week (about $8.36/day), less than a week in the garage on parking alone but more than the $49 a week in the surface lots, and with no shuttle, so you pay for a rideshare or taxi each way. Paying and Leaving

You pay as you leave, at the automated machines at the exit plaza.

If you lose your ticket, go to the first booth on the left at the exit plaza and show your boarding pass. Free luggage carts are in the parking deck. The airport suggests dropping off extra passengers and bags at the curb before you park, which saves carrying them from the garage. If you would rather not park at all for a short trip, rideshare pick-up is at the north entrance of baggage claim and taxis wait on the lower level outside baggage claim.
