Rates are from the airport's parking rates page. Multi-day totals use one daily maximum per day; the airport doesn't publish weekly or monthly rates or how a partial final day is billed. All lots also charge $2 an hour. For the night-by-night view, see our Savannah airport overnight parking costs.

The Surface Lots: A, B, C and D

Lots A, B and D are open surface lots at $7/day; Lot C opens only when the airport needs overflow parking.

Lots A and B are both 878 feet from the terminal, and the airport's FAQ calls the surface parking its "Value Lot" and overflow lot. Lot D is 1,200 feet out and Lot C 1,300 feet. Each has walkways to and from the terminal. Lot A is also where the airport places oversized vehicles; call (912) 964-0514 x 5503 to arrange it.

Economy Garage: $12/Day, 385 Feet Out

Economy Parking is a two-level garage with 2,000 spaces, 385 feet from the terminal, with covered walkways.

It has handicap-accessible spaces and an 8 ft height clearance. As of October 2026, the airport listed the fourth level of Terminal Parking as closed for maintenance through 31 October 2026 and the North Economy Garage as closed through 18 November 2026; check current status on its parking page before you go. The airport doesn't say whether any other economy space stays open during that closure.

Is There a Long-Term Parking Shuttle at SAV?

No shuttle is listed for any SAV lot; you walk from every lot to the terminal on walkways.

The farthest lot, Lot C, is 1,300 feet away. Free luggage carts are available in the parking deck and baggage claim, and you can drop off passengers and bags at the curb before you park. The airport suggests arriving 2 to 3 hours before your flight to allow for parking, check-in and security, per its travel tips and FAQs.

Booking a Space: Candlewood Suites on Triply

The airport's lots can't be reserved, but Candlewood Suites near SAV can: $58.53 for a sample week, about $8.36/day.

That is about $9.50 more than a week in Lots A, B or D ($49), and there is no shuttle, so you pay for a rideshare or taxi each way to cover the 2.3 miles. It costs less than Economy ($84) or Terminal Parking ($126) on parking alone, but your ride costs come on top. It makes sense if you want a guaranteed space on a busy weekend, a full refund if you cancel up to the day of arrival, or room for a large vehicle (the listing says no extra charge for full-size vans, pickups and large SUVs). Triply prices are for 13 to 19 November 2026, include fees and change by date; see other dates on the SAV parking booking page.

Accessible and Oversized Vehicles on a Long Trip

Accessible spaces are in both garages, and oversized vehicles park in Lot A by arrangement.

The airport's accessibility page says handicap-accessible spaces are in the Long Term/Hourly garage and in Economy, and placard or plate holders pay the posted rate. Airlines must provide wheelchair service from the curb to the aircraft on request, but not from the parking garages, so a traveler who needs help may want to be dropped at Departures first while someone else parks. For a tall van or truck, remember the height limits: 7 ft in Terminal Parking and 8 ft in Economy. The surface lots have no listed height limit, and for oversized vehicles the airport asks you to call (912) 964-0514 x 5503 before you travel.

Long-Term Parking Tips

A few habits make a long trip from SAV cheaper and smoother.

  • Go straight to Lots A, B or D; at $7/day they save $35 a week over Economy.
  • For trips of a few hours, remember every lot charges $2 an hour; the surface lots reach their $7 cap after 4 hours.
  • Check the airport's parking page for maintenance notices before you leave.
  • Keep your ticket with you; if it is lost, show your boarding pass at the first booth on the left at the exit.
  • Arriving tired late at night? The Long Term/Hourly garage is only 150 feet from the door.
