Where Is the TUS Parking Garage?

The Garage connects to the terminal's east exit by inclined moving walkways, which also lead to the Rental Car Center.

Use the terminal address, 7250 S Tucson Blvd, to reach the terminal area. The airport does not publish a separate street address for the Garage.

Walking From the Garage to Your Gate

From the Garage, enter the terminal through the east exit; departing travelers keep left inside, according to the TUS accessibility guide.

  • Moving walkways run on an incline between the terminal and the Garage.
  • Avoiding the walkways: take the ramp down to baggage claim, then an elevator to the second level for airline check-in.
  • Elevators: the Garage has three, near the escalators and stairs.
  • Accessible spaces: the Garage has designated spaces for vehicles with a disability plate or official placard.

Paying and Lost Tickets in the Garage

The Garage uses an EasyPay machine with an intercom; if you lose your ticket, the intercom can usually work out your charge and issue an exit ticket.

There is no penalty fee for a lost ticket. The airport records plates nightly and charges the daily rate for each night your car was there, plus your exit day. If you reserved, scan the QR code from your confirmation email at the gate. Payment methods for drive-up parking are not listed by the airport.

Reserving a Garage Space

Garage reservations are optional and cost the daily rate plus a $2 booking fee that isn't refunded.

  • Book from 24 hours up to six months ahead, for up to 60 days.
  • The gate won't open more than 2 hours before your booked start, and time past your booked exit is charged at the posted rate.
  • The booking only covers the Garage; park in another lot and you are charged that lot's posted rate on top.
  • Cancel up to 24 hours ahead for a refund minus the $2 fee; after that, one day of parking is kept too.
  • Vehicles over 20 feet or towing a trailer count as oversized and pay for each extra stall used.

Garage or Hourly Lot for Pick-Ups?

For a quick pick-up, the Hourly lot in front of the terminal is closer and costs $4 an hour; the Garage makes sense once you'll stay most of a day.

If you only need to wait in the car, the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot on Airport Drive is the better choice. Cars can't wait at the terminal curb.

Should You Park in the Garage?

Pick the Garage if you want shade and no shuttle; pick Economy if price matters more.

  • Short trips: for a day or two, the walk saves the shuttle ride, and at $15/day it costs less for a full day than the Hourly lot.
  • Long trips: a week in the Garage is about $105 against $42 in Economy. Our Tucson airport long-term parking guide covers stays of weeks.
  • Shade on a budget: Economy Covered at $9/day is also covered, with a 24/7 shuttle; see the TUS economy parking guide.
  • Tall vehicles: the airport does not publish a height clearance; call (520) 573-4710 before you come.

A Cheaper Covered Option Off-Site

Four Points by Sheraton Tucson Airport, a hotel 0.6 miles from TUS, came to $39.02 for a sample week, about $5.60/day, against about $90 to $105 in the Garage for the same stay.

Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date.

Its listing includes covered parking; ask at the front desk when you check in. The trade-off is the shuttle: free and on demand from 4 AM to 11 PM, booked by calling 520-746-0271 at least 12 hours ahead. Our covered vs uncovered parking guide for TUS compares all three covered choices.
