How Long-Term Parking Works at TUS

You park in Economy or Economy Covered on Corona Road, ride the free shuttle to the terminal, and pay when you exit.

  1. Drive to Economy. Use 2650 E Corona Road in your GPS.
  2. Take a ticket or scan your reservation. A reservation QR code opens the gate; without one, pull a ticket.
  3. Catch the shuttle. It runs 24/7 about every 15 to 20 minutes and often meets you where you park. In Economy Covered, stand by your car.
  4. Come home. Take the shuttle back and pay at the cashier booth on the way out.

Rules for Long Stays

You can leave a car as long as you like, but the airport FAQ asks you to call ahead past 30 days.

  • Over 30 days: call the parking office at (520) 573-4710, unless you reserved the whole period.
  • Reservations: up to 60 days per booking; for longer, call the same number.
  • Over 90 days: the vehicle counts as abandoned and can be removed and sold at auction unless you arranged it.
  • Coming home early: reservations aren't refunded once they start.

Should You Reserve Long-Term Parking?

You don't have to: every TUS lot takes drive-ups, first come, first served. A reservation costs $2 extra and guarantees your lot.

Reservations open 24 hours to six months ahead and give you a QR code for the gate. Cancel at least 24 hours before the start for a refund minus the $2 fee. If your flight home is delayed, the extra time is added at the posted rate when you scan out, payable by credit or debit card.

Long-Term Parking Tips

  • Note your row and lot before you board the shuttle.
  • Allow time for the shuttle; the airport suggests arriving 90 minutes before a domestic flight and 2 hours for early-morning weekday or holiday flights.
  • Want to walk instead? The Tucson airport parking garage is covered and costs $15/day.
  • Lost your ticket after a long trip? You pay the daily rate for each night your plate was recorded, with no penalty fee.
