TUS Economy Parking Rates

Where Is TUS Economy Parking?
The Economy lot is at East Corona Road and South Tucson Boulevard, with Economy Covered beside it on Corona Road, a short shuttle ride from the terminal.
Set your GPS to 2650 E Corona Road if you are driving straight to Economy, not the terminal address (7250 S Tucson Blvd).
How the Economy Shuttle Works
Courtesy shuttles run 24/7 about every 15 to 20 minutes between both economy lots and the terminal, according to the TUS airport FAQ.
- Economy lot: the shuttle often meets you where you park. If not, walk to one of the covered shuttle stops.
- Economy Covered: stand by your car to be picked up, or wait at a covered shuttle stop in the Economy lot just beyond the covered lot's fence.
- Coming back: the airport does not publish the exact terminal stop for the return shuttle.
Accessible Economy Parking
The Economy lot has accessible spaces and wheelchair-accessible shuttles; the airport's accessibility page calls it the lowest-rate lot.
To arrange a wheelchair-accessible shuttle, call (520) 573-4710. Accessible spaces need a disability plate or official placard on display.
Reserving Economy Parking
You can reserve either economy lot online for the daily rate plus a $2 booking fee, or simply drive up.
Reservations open 24 hours to six months ahead, cover up to 60 days, and give you a QR code for the gate. Past airport promotions, like up to 7 days free in summer 2026, applied only to the uncovered Economy lot; none is running as of October 2026. Our Tucson airport parking fees guide has the full reservation and cancellation rules.
Economy vs Off-Site Parking
For a sample week, the off-site hotel lot bookable on Triply cost about the same as uncovered Economy and less than Economy Covered.
Four Points by Sheraton Tucson Airport, 0.6 miles away, came to $39.02, about $5.60/day. For the same stay (6 days and 4 hours), Economy would be $36 to $42 and Economy Covered $54 to $63, depending on how TUS bills the partial last day.
Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date.
- Economy wins on shuttle: it runs 24/7 with no call needed.
- The hotel lot wins on extras: a listing that includes covered parking, a 24/7 front desk and a restaurant. Its shuttle runs on demand 4 AM to 11 PM, and you call 520-746-0271 at least 12 hours ahead.
Weighing shade? Our Tucson airport covered parking guide compares Economy Covered, the Garage and the hotel lot. If you want no shuttle at all, the TUS garage is a walk from the terminal at $15/day.
Economy Covered or Uncovered: Which to Pick?
Pick uncovered Economy if price is all that matters, and Economy Covered if your car will sit in the sun for days.
- Cost of shade: $3 a day, or $21 for a week.
- Same schedule: both lots have shuttles 24/7, about every 15 to 20 minutes.
- Pickup style: in uncovered Economy the shuttle often comes to your car; in Economy Covered you wait by your car or at the stop beyond the fence.
- Promotions: past airport offers covered only the uncovered lot, so check the promo terms before you book.
Leaving Economy
Ride the shuttle back to your lot and pay at the cashier booth at the exit gate, or scan your reservation QR code.
Lost your ticket? The cashier can look up your license plate, since the airport records plates in every lot each night. There is no penalty fee; you pay the daily rate for each night your car was recorded plus the day you leave. Need a copy of your receipt later? Call the parking office at (520) 573-4710.
Economy Parking Tips
- Add time for the shuttle on top of the airport's advice to arrive 90 minutes before a domestic flight, or 2 hours for early weekday and holiday flights.
- Note where you parked before you board; the shuttle drops you back in the lot.
- Leaving the car more than 30 days? Call (520) 573-4710 first unless you reserved the full stay.
