Albany Airport Parking Cost: $7 to $24/Day by Lot, Trip Length Compared (2026)

As of October 2026, Albany airport parking costs $7/day in the Economy E-Lot, $12/day in the Long Term lot, $18/day in the North and South garages and $24/day in Short Term. In the E-Lot, Long Term lot and garages the first hour is free, then $2 for 1 to 2 hours and $4 for 2 to 3 hours. Two hotel lots on Triply came to about $9 and $11/day all-in for a sample week.

Albany Airport Parking Rates (October 2026)

Daily maximums range from $7 in the E-Lot to $24 in Short Term.

These are the airport's posted rates from the Albany International Airport parking page, in effect since 1 January 2025, when garages went to $18, the long-term lots to $12 and the economy lot to $7, while Short Term stayed at $24. The airport does not say whether tax is added, and it does not publish weekly or monthly rates.

Short Term Parking Rates at ALB

Short Term costs $2 per hour after the free period, up to $24 a day.

It is on the first level of the North Garage and in a signed area beside it, directly across from the terminal. The airport's pages disagree on the free period: the parking map and map page say the first 30 minutes, while the rates page says the first hour. Either way, Short Term is for drop-offs, pickups and short visits: for a full day, its $24 maximum is $6 more than the garages.

What Parking Costs by Trip Length

For a stay of a day or longer, the E-Lot is the cheapest official option.

Multi-day figures are the daily maximum times the number of days, before any tax. The airport does not publish how it counts partial days, so a trip that runs a few hours past a full day may be charged an extra day.

How the Hotel Lots on Triply Compare

Baymont came in $12 to $19 above the E-Lot and Hampton Inn about level with the Long Term lot for our sample week.

The official ranges show 6 daily charges at the low end and 7 at the high end, because the airport does not publish how it bills the extra 4 hours of a stay like this, or whether tax is added to its posted rates. Triply prices are for a sample stay (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026, billed as 7 days), include taxes and fees, and change by date.

The hotel lots don't beat the E-Lot on price. What you get is a space booked in advance, a 100% refund up to the day of arrival, and front-desk check-in. Their shuttles don't run all night, though: Baymont runs on demand from 4 AM to 11 PM, and Hampton Inn leaves for the airport every hour from 4 AM to 10:30 PM. Ways to Pay Less at Albany Airport

The biggest saving is choosing the E-Lot over the garages: $11 a day less, or $77 over a week.

• Use the E-Lot for any multi-day trip; the shuttle is free and runs 24/7.
• If you want to walk, the Long Term lot is $6 a day less than the garages.
• For pickups, wait in a garage (free for the first hour) or the cell phone lot instead of circling. Until the cell phone lot reopens after its expansion in early November 2026, the temporary lot is at Heritage Lane and Albany Shaker Road.
• The airport publishes no discount codes and no prepay rate.
