As of October 2026, Norfolk International Airport has four parking garages, A, B, C and D, all a short walk from the terminals. Garage A Level 1 is Hourly Parking at $5/hour up to $30/day; Garage A Levels 3 to 8 and Garages B, C and D are Daily Parking at $3/hour up to $14/day. Height limits run from 6' 7" in Garages B and C to 8' 2" on Garage D's ground level.

Below is what each garage is for and how to choose. For rates across all of ORF, free pick-up and reservations, see our main ORF airport parking guide. Facts are from the airport's Norfolk airport parking page.

Stays under 30 minutes are free in every garage. The airport doesn't publish weekly rates; a week at the Daily max is $98. Our ORF parking fees table shows the cost of every stay length.

Garage A: Hourly and Daily Parking

Garage A holds both rates: Hourly on Level 1 and Daily on Levels 3 to 8, with rental car return on Level 2.

Level 1 is the convenient choice for a short visit, but at $5 an hour it costs more than Daily's $3 an hour for any stay, so drive up to Level 3 or higher if you don't mind the elevator. Garage A has accessible spaces, an 8' 1" clearance and elevators. Hourly Parking has a 30-day maximum; Daily is 60 days.

Garages B and C: Daily Parking With Low Clearance

Garages B and C are Daily Parking at $14/day max, but their 6' 7" height limit rules out many vans and lifted trucks.

If your vehicle has a roof box or is taller than 6' 7", use Garage A or D instead, or the Daily East surface lot, which stays open for oversized vehicles. Rates are identical across all Daily garages, so pick by height and convenience, not price.

Garage D: EV Charging

Garage D has ORF's 12 complimentary EV charging spaces: six on the ground level and six on Level 3.

Both charging areas are Daily Parking, and the airport says your car can stay plugged in for the whole trip. The charging is free; plan on the normal $14/day for the space. The parking page gives Garage D's clearance as 8' 2" on the ground level and 8' 1" above, while the airport's Know Before You Go page lists 8' 1" for Garages A and D, so plan on 8' 1" if you are close. Garage D has accessible spaces.

Getting From the Garage to Your Flight

You walk: the airport says four parking garages connect to the Arrivals Terminal for a covered transfer between your car and your gate.

New moving walkways connect the ORF terminals, and garages have elevators. Security guards are on duty 24 hours, a security escort between the terminals and parking is available, every garage has service response phones, and you can call 757-857-3348 for a battery jump. The airport's accessibility page lists ramps and accessible spaces in Garages A and D, Hourly Parking in Garage A, and the Departures North and South lots.

ORF Parking Map

The airport's "See the Parking Map" buttons lead to its parking page; it doesn't publish a separate garage map.

The entrance intersection off Norview Avenue and Robin Hood Road is being realigned with new four-way signals that will direct drivers to Arrivals, Departures and Parking, due in summer 2027, so expect changes on the way in. A new rental car facility south of the Departures Terminal is planned for early 2028, and the airport says that will return existing garage spaces to public parking. Details are on the TransformORF construction site.

Garage Parking vs Off-Site

The garages cost $14/day at most and need no shuttle; the one off-site lot on Triply was about $9.25/day for a sample week but its shuttle is suspended.

Econo Lodge Norfolk Airport, 1.1 miles away at 3343 N Military Hwy, came to $64.75 for a 13 to 19 November sample stay (billed as 7 days) against $96 to $98 in a Daily garage. Triply prices are for the sample dates shown, include fees and change by date. The lot lists its shuttle as temporarily suspended, so you would book your own Uber or Lyft each way; on a short trip, those two rides can erase the saving. Compare both on our Norfolk airport long-term parking page. ORF garages can't be reserved right now; our guide to saving on ORF parking explains why and what to do instead.
