San Antonio Airport Parking Long Term: Economy $10/Day, Garage $20/Day (2026)

As of October 2026, the best San Antonio airport parking for long term trips is Economy Green at $10/day, with a free shuttle every 5 to 15 minutes, 24/7. The Long-Term Garage is a 5-minute walk from the terminals and costs $20/day for cars entering from 1 November 2026 ($16 before). A week comes to about $73 in Economy and $143 in the garage, while one off-site lot on Triply was $44.63 for a sample week.

Economy Green vs the Long-Term Garage

Economy Green costs half as much as the Long-Term Garage; the garage saves you the shuttle ride and offers covered spaces.

These are drive-up rates from the Economy Green lot page and the Long-Term Garage rates page. The rate you pay is set when you drive in, so a car entering on 31 October still pays $16/day in the garage for its whole stay. Every exit over 3 hours adds a $2.99 transaction fee. The airport publishes no weekly or monthly rate.

San Antonio Airport Economy Parking

Economy Green is SAT's lowest-priced lot at $10/day, and the airport says that rate stays locked after 1 November 2026.

Under 3 hours, Economy charges $3 for the first hour, $5 up to 2 hours and $7 up to 3 hours. From 3 to 24 hours it is the $10 daily rate, and each further day is $10 up to the 30-day maximum. A lost ticket is charged at the daily rate. Because SAT uses license-plate recognition, you simply register your plate with Metropolis once and drive in.

Economy shuttle hours and frequency

The free Economy shuttle runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between the Green and Red lots and the terminal curb, according to the SAT parking FAQs.

• Frequency: every 5 to 10 minutes at peak times and every 10 to 15 minutes off-peak.
• Ride: the airport lists Economy Green as about 10 minutes to the terminal.
• Accessibility: every bus has a wheelchair lift and a secured wheelchair area.
• Live tracking: open PassioGo (app or passiogo.com) and select the agency "SAT Parking".

SAT Long-Term Parking Garage

The Long-Term Garage is within walking distance of the terminals, about 5 minutes on foot, and has covered and uncovered spaces.

From 1 November 2026 it charges $4 for the first hour, $8 up to 2 hours, $12 up to 3 hours and $20 for 3 to 24 hours, then $20 a day. The garage has a 7-foot height limit, accessible spaces and courtesy phones if you need help. Long-Term Parking Cost by Trip Length

For trips of a day or more, you pay the daily rate for each 24 hours plus one $2.99 transaction fee.

Stays Over 30 Days

All SAT lots have a 30-day maximum, so register any longer stay with the Parking Office before you go.

Call 210-207-3490 or email SATParking@metropolis.io. A vehicle left more than 30 consecutive days without registering can be towed at the owner's expense, along with parking and storage fees.

Reserving Long-Term Parking

You can prepay both Economy Green and the Long-Term Garage on the airport's site, up to 6 months ahead.

A reservation guarantees a space in the lot you book, though not a specific spot. You can cancel for a full refund up to 1 hour before it starts, or amend it by then and pay or get back any price difference. The airport doesn't publish its prepaid prices. Off-Site Long-Term Parking

The one off-site lot on Triply cost less than Economy Green for a sample week, with a less frequent shuttle.

Homewood Suites at 8531 Broadway Street, 1.1 miles from SAT, came to $44.63 for 7 days (about $6.40/day), paid in full online, against about $72.99 in Economy for the same dates (7 billed days at $10 for a 6-day, 4-hour stay entering after 1 November, plus one $2.99 fee). Its shuttle leaves for the airport every hour on the half hour from 4 AM to midnight, and you call (210) 804-0100 to be picked up on return. It needs a 2-day minimum and has no ADA-accessible spaces. Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date. Tips for Long-Term Parkers

• Drive in before 1 November if you can: the garage rate is set at entry, so you keep $16/day.
• Leave shuttle time: allow for the shuttle wait and ride on top of the airport's advice to arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight.
