SAT Parking Reservations at San Antonio Airport: What You Can Book, From $10/Day (2026)

As of October 2026, you can make SAT parking reservations at San Antonio International Airport on the airport's own site for Economy Green, the Long-Term Garage, Preferred Reserve in the Short-Term Garage and Fly Away Valet, up to 6 months ahead. Drive-up rates are $10/day in Economy and, from 1 November 2026, $20, $30 and $37/day for the other three; the airport says booking online gets its lowest available rates. One off-site lot on Triply came to $44.63 for a sample week.

What You Can Reserve at SAT

Four official products can be booked ahead, according to the airport's reservations FAQ; in the Short-Term Garage, the reservable area is Preferred Reserve.

How Booking Works

Book online, then drive up to the gate: your license plate is recognized, and you park in any open space in the lot you booked.

• How far ahead: up to 6 months.
• Latest booking: up to 6 hours before, subject to availability.
• No assigned spot: a booking guarantees a space in that facility, not a specific one. Skip any space signed "RESERVED".
• Guaranteed space: the airport advertises reserved parking as guaranteed even when a garage or lot is full, and refunds in full if it can't find you a space.
• Sold out online? Reservable spaces are limited; if a facility doesn't appear, drive-up parking may still be available.
• No Metropolis account needed: prepaid reservations work without registering.

Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

You can amend or cancel an official SAT booking up to 1 hour before the booked period starts, and a cancellation gets a full refund.

Use Manage Booking on the airport's booking site. If you change dates and the price differs, you are charged or refunded the difference. If SAT can't find a space for you in the facility you booked, it refunds the booking in full.

Reservations and the 1 November 2026 Rate Change

Drive-up rates for the Long-Term Garage, Short-Term Garage and valet rise for cars entering on or after 1 November 2026, while Economy Green stays at $10/day.

The new drive-up rates are $20/day in the Long-Term Garage (from $16), $30/day in the Short-Term Garage (from $29) and $37/day for valet (from $33). For drive-up parking, the rate is set by the time you enter, not when you leave. Compare the prepaid price shown for your dates with these drive-up rates before you buy. The airport also recommends allowing extra travel time during peak travel periods.

Which Reservation Is Closest to the Terminal?

Valet is the closest option, Preferred Reserve is the closest self-park, and Economy Green is the farthest but lowest priced.

• Fly Away Valet: about 1 minute; you hand over the car at Level 0 of the Short-Term Garage.
• Preferred Reserve: about a 3-minute walk from Level 1 of the Short-Term Garage.
• Long-Term Garage: about a 5-minute walk.
• Economy Green: about 10 minutes by the free shuttle, which runs 24/7 every 5 to 15 minutes.

Preferred Reserve

Preferred Reserve is a reservation-only block of spaces in the Short-Term Garage, Level 1, Rows 6A, 6B and 7A, the closest self-park spaces to the terminals.

San Antonio Airport Parking Promo Codes

SAT does not publish a standing promo code; it sends codes to people on its parking email and text list.

To get them, sign up for the SAT Parking newsletter and opt into text alerts on FlySATParking.com. Be wary of codes posted elsewhere, since the airport issues them directly. Honest ways to pay less:

• Choose Economy Green: $10/day with a free 24/7 shuttle is the lowest official rate. See our SAT long-term and economy parking guide.
• Book online: the airport says prepaid rates are its lowest available.
• Drive in before 1 November 2026: the rate is set at entry, so garage and valet stays keep the old price.

Reserving Off-Site Parking

You can also reserve an off-site lot on Triply, and for our sample week it cost less than Economy Green's drive-up rate.

Homewood Suites, at 8531 Broadway Street, 1.1 miles from SAT, came to $44.63 for 7 days (about $6.40/day), paid in full online, against about $72.99 drive-up in Economy Green (7 billed days at $10 for a 6-day, 4-hour stay entering after 1 November, plus one $2.99 fee). Cancel up to the day of arrival for a 100% refund. Bookings need at least 2 days. The hotel shuttle goes to the airport every hour on the half hour from 4 AM to midnight, and you call (210) 804-0100 for a pick-up once you have your bags. Triply prices are for a sample 7-day booking (check-in 10 AM on 13 November, check-out 2 PM on 19 November 2026), include taxes and fees, and change by date.
