PHL has direct rail access via SEPTA Regional Rail with 4 stations on airport property: Terminal B, Terminal C/D, Terminal E/F, and Eastwick. Stations are located directly below or adjacent to terminals — no shuttle needed.

Travel from PHL via SEPTA Airport Line:

For Amtrak connections, take SEPTA to 30th Street Station. From there, Amtrak Acela reaches NYC in 1h15m, Washington D.C. in 1h45m. Northeast Regional runs frequently.

At $5.00, SEPTA dramatically beats the $20–$35 rideshare to Center City. The $28.50 flat-rate taxi is a reliable middle option that avoids surge pricing.

Terminals are connected post-security — A-East to A-West, B to C to D. Terminals E and F have a shared D/E security checkpoint. Verify your terminal but you can move between American Airlines mainline domestic concourses (B, C, D) without re-clearing.
