How Embassy Suites Park and Fly Works

You check in at the front desk, register your car with a validation code, then take the hotel shuttle to the terminal.

1. Check in at the hotel front desk before you park, and show your reservation confirmation.
2. Get a validation code from the desk agent.
3. Scan the QR code on site and follow the prompts to register your vehicle with that code.
4. Ride the shuttle to the airport. Seats are first come, first served and the shuttle can fill, so arrive early.
5. On return, collect your bags and call 843-747-1882 to request the shuttle back to the hotel.

Shuttle Hours and the Overnight Gap

The shuttle runs only from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, so very early departures and late arrivals need another ride.

If you park outside shuttle hours, the lot says you must arrange your own transportation, such as Uber, Lyft or a taxi. At CHS, rideshare picks up in Zones 1, 2 or 3 across both roadways outside Baggage Claim, and taxis charge a $17 minimum from the airport. The airport's Economy Lot runs a shuttle every five minutes around the clock with no minimum stay. Embassy Suites runs one every 30 minutes during the day, needs at least 4 days and asks you to check in at the front desk. In return you pay the full price online when you book, nothing is due at the lot, the front desk is staffed 24/7, and the hotel lists wheelchair access and a restaurant on site.

Who Embassy Suites Parking Suits

It suits trips of 4 days or more with flights between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM.

• Good fit: a week away on a budget, when you want a space booked before you leave, and when you can allow time for a 30-minute shuttle cycle.

Timing Your Trip

Leave extra time for the hotel check-in and the shuttle on top of the airport's advice.

CHS recommends arriving 90 minutes to two hours before departure, and its security checkpoint page lists TSA hours of 3:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. or the last flight. With a shuttle every 30 minutes, add up to a half-hour wait plus front-desk check-in to your plan.
