Charleston Airport Hourly Parking Rates

For short stays, the Hourly Parking Garage is cheapest at $3 an hour until it caps at $21; every other lot is $5 an hour.

Our Charleston long-term parking guide covers the Economy shuttle and the Overflow Lot, and the CHS garage comparison explains what the Daily Garage's extra $4/day buys.

Lost Ticket Fees and Accessible Parking

A lost ticket costs the facility's daily maximum for each day, and qualified drivers with a disability placard or plate park free for the first 48 hours.

  • Lost ticket: $21 per day in the Hourly Garage, $17 in the Daily Garage, $13 in Economy and Overflow.
  • Accessible parking: show a valid state-issued placard with matching government ID, or a handicap plate with matching registration and ID; the person it was issued to must be in the car at exit. After 48 hours, the Daily Garage or surface-lot rate applies. The airport's accessibility page has the same rule.
  • Valet: no handicap discount.

Charleston Airport Parking Coupons and Discounts

The airport publishes no coupons, promo codes, or senior or military parking discounts, so the way to save is to choose the right facility.

  • Short visit: use the Hourly Garage at $3 an hour, or the free cell lot if you are waiting for someone.
  • One or two days near the terminal: the Daily Garage at $17 beats the Hourly Garage's $21.
  • Three days or more: Economy at $13/day.
  • Four days or more: compare Embassy Suites Charleston Airport, which came in under Economy for our sample week.

Can You Prepay Charleston Airport Parking?

No: the airport's site lists no way to reserve or prepay, and you pay at the exit station by card or cash.

Exit stations accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and cash. Valet, at $25/day, is the priciest choice; our CHS valet guide covers its hours and how pick-up works.
